  1. i like Daiwa. very respectable gear. i would go so far as to highly recommend Daiwa reels and Shimano rods. now i wait for more of ArticCats bruising PM's
  2. yes. lowes, home depot, and walmart. rubber chair tips and 3/8 washers.
  3. at what point does the consumer just buy a Steez?
  4. i like the Falcon Original over the BuCoo. imo the BuCoo is a rod trying to keep pace with the Jones. i like the reel.
  5. sounds like a classic level wind paw to me.
  6. anyone used this program? reviews?
  7. we drove past BPS while in vegas. does that count?
  8. this tells me you like tip heavy rods with decreased sensitivity. but, if you like it go with it. ive tried my Mojos again and again and every time they are too tip heavy for my liking. for the OP's price range id be looking at Falcon Lowrider or Shimano Compre.
  9. this story reads more like a "dont have your truck fixed here" type story than anything.
  10. Px4 Storm Type F Sub-Compact. i really liked this gun. the gun only had a few rounds put through it when my son and i got our hands on it. it was a 9mm. the gun shot well. at 15 yards 90% of the rounds were in a group the size of a softball. the de-cocker worked well even dirty. we only put 200 rounds through the gun but it popped every time. in low light it was easy to find the front sight. for a DA/SA the trigger didnt feel like you were using a caulking gun. 2 things i didnt like. the de-cocker on the slide made gripping the slide to chamber a round odd. loading the double stack mag was a real pain in the but. in fact my son gave up trying to load the mag all together. over all id give the gun a 7 on my 1-10 scale. pick one up if you have the chance, it might be for you.
  11. my 2001 F250 blew plugs out of the head driving down the road. it also went 300,000 miles......
  12. and thats why we call it concealed.
  13. after a while you will get to where you would rather go fishing than go look at fishing stuff. the BPS in Olathe has a poor rod selection so other than to stock up on things ive lost i rarely go.
  14. Clarus Casting Rod 7' Medium Ft Taper thats a start.
  15. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1272591162/15 thats what i would do if i wanted a great reel.
  16. we will be in vegas that week. that night however we are going to the lewis black show.
  17. how would you feel about a duck blind that has a mini kitchen in it? when i say mini im talking a card table, 2 milk crates and 2 coleman stoves. hot food on a day thats single digits goes a long way when you get old like me.
  18. as a tried and true Daiwa/Falcon man, i find using Shimano gear to be a pleasure. the Compre rod is a fine rod.
  19. been married over 20 years and it takes courage to start this thread here.
  20. There aint really a problem with a 20 year old dating a 17 year old. Wow 2-3 year difference. It really is not that much. says the 17 year old. wait till that 17 year old is your daughter, ill bet my complete fishing rig youll feel different.
  21. nose firmly in the air over here.
  22. this might be out of line but...........there are at least 2 very good reel techs on this forum you could send that booger too and have it serviced. i just cant see a quality reel like that needing anything more unless the spool shaft is bent or something.
