Congratulations. as far as a ring goes ive not had one for many many years. in the line of work i do rings on fingers can lead to bad things. i am thinking of getting a ring tattoo.

if its been nothing but trouble id not carry it. i myself have never had a problem with ruger auto loaders. ive only had a few but they all worked perfect. also, for a defensive round the 9mm hardball isnt the worst idea ever. high cap. mags in compact autos make for a comfortable carry.

had you been here when the Revos first came out you would have thought this place was a support forum for Revos. its like this with everything. a few months back every rod thread was about the Mojos. whatevers hot is the topic.

id make 100% sure you like the grips on the casting rods. i spent a lot of time getting my rod to where i felt like i had a good grip on it then didnt like that now im starting over.

i think its amazing how 10# fish look so much different from pic to pic. i caught a fish last year post spawn that was about 23" and not so fat and it didnt sniff 10#'s. congrads on your DD fish.

many brands of rods cover all applications of bass fishing, including spinning and casting. as far as sticking with one brand/style for me thats not so easy. theres so much new stuff coming out that it makes it impossible for me to be "brand loyal".

There has been no price change. The LTX has always retailed for $150, the Gold for $200 and the Classic Gold for $250. right, seems i was confusing their LTX for the Gold.

like i said, ive fished them a ton......in the store..........lol. let me ask you, what brought you to buy a Carrot Stix or any other rod/reel? the feedback on this forum is probably 100% responsible for me not buying some gear and 60% responsible for the current gear i have. i dont have to use them on the water, some boys i respect a ton did that for me. thanks guys!!!! What the hey is probably???? I have some fellas here I fished with and are friends, some of thier EXPERIENCE HAS HELPED ME. I do not have much faith in o OPINIONS here or anywhere else. Some of them come from folks who have never used the equipment, there is product steering on this and other forums and I use what I buy, and then I use the product, if I like it then it becomes part of my equipment. I do not need other's approval or recognition on how I spend my money or what I use. i feel ya. the ppl i tend to listen i know use the gear they talk about, and i can count them on 1, maybe 2 hands.
