  2. fished melvern all day. zero small mouth. still had an ok day though. take your lipless cranks with you.
  3. it works perfectly to 25 mph. after that the transducer is out of the water.
  4. this is a highly debatable topic but heres where i put mine.

  8. first car was a 1967 GTO. not the best first car for a kid but i loved that car.
  9. i agree with Catt 100% i went through a faze of wanting top end reels but now im to the point id rather have good reels and the best rods i can buy. in the end i think its more importain to be out there fishing than adding more crap to our bags of tricks.
  10. x2..but dry it out first then strip down clean off all old grease and get all oil off then regrease and oil and reassemble and you should be good to go,but make sure to dry everything off.use a hairdryer and if you want once you break it down let the parts all sit in a bowl of rice overnight to soak up all liquid dampness and mositure. ive never thought about doing that.
  11. ive been know to go swimming for crank baits. if the waters right i have no problem getting wet for a $10 bait.
  12. everything he said. some of those reels needed a light rod to cast your bait well. i still use a few of them for big, heavy baits
  13. i bought the last righty Fuego the olathe store had. had they given a bit more discount i would have bought the display as well.
  14. Mr. Hung Fu makes its 4some.
  15. that is a sweet mount.
  16. its a good piece. bulky and heavy but still a good reel.
  17. well that stinks. i wanted to see the OP's pics. in his defence (even though ive not seen his pics) there are a few ppl i fish with that whatever they catch i take a pic. when my father gets hung up i might take a pic. trebble hooks in my daughter (my fault ;D ) i took 3 pics.....heh. i like to take pics of everything.
  18. Steez gear IMO is never a mistake. paying retail is a tricky thing. most of the reels i own are bought off ebay. i never buy a rod on line unless i own one. i am however one of the lucky ones to have a BPS and a Cabelas within mins of my house. its nice to be able to take a spooled reel in and play with a rod before you put your money down. enjoy the gear.
  19. how are you liking this rod? im looking for something to toss tubes and 1/8-1/4 weights on thin line.
