I recently sold a fiberglass Lunker Stick that I had owned since the early 1970s. reason i asked cuzz i have 2 of those rods and from what i seen catts rod looked close. how did you come out selling the rod?

Why not just get a muzzle break on your 7mm and keep on shooting? :-? i have no need for the gun. i fell victom to the hype of the round. i have a .243, a .25-06, and a 30-30 for deer. a .30-06 for elk. i just didnt see a reason for the abuse on my shoulder. btw........the 30-30 kicks like a roided out mule too.

big guns are good for ppl who shoot a little. a well place .22 will drop a deer in its tracks. i had a 7mm mag for about a week. i got tired of it kicking the hell out of me.

i always thought it was good ol dot-3. id see if you can get a bit of the old fuild on a rag and smell it. should be easy to tell brake fluid from something else.

the .308 IMO is the best "all around" round there is. to me the short action is icing on the cake. a lot of ppl are limited to what the local gun store sells though and the .308 seems to never make that list.

co-sign id probably go with the 30-06 though, never know when an elk hunting trip bites you in the rear. i myself use a .243 for deer hunting.

How did you get a permit here in Maryland? Lord knows the state government doesn't want any non ms-13's from PG county carring handguns. Allen The current CCW (Concealed Carry Weapons) law provides that if you can show documentation of several recent death threats then you might get a permit. However, if the threats are documented but older (say an ex- threatened to kill you when he gets out of jail and he's been in for 5 years and is about to get out) you will not be issued a permit. If you cannot document the death threats (they were made in person with no witnesses) you will not be able to get a permit. does that make sense?...............lol id move out of Maryland.

sand it down. use a fine grade sand paper and take your time. you might work on an old rod first to see whats going to happen.

we used to have jetski problems till they found out our bass boats are faster than their skis 95% of the time.
