  1. So when you say breaking on rock, are you talking about casting it up on some rocks on the bank or cranking it into rocks? i emailed rapala not long ago about busting the lips off their cranks and got this back: Thank you for your email and letting us know about your experiences with our lures. Rapala can make an indestructible lure that will never break but it will not have the action and unique construction that provides such great productivity. As you know, many factors cause lures to become damaged. Rocks, Weeds, certain Fishing Techniques, miss use, Line strength, drag, and bottom structures are some factors that cause lures to weaken or become damaged. Time and time again, when we test and study lures that have broken, the results show that some hindering factor had caused the lure to weaken. If you think your lure was defective and not damaged by other means as listed above, then here are some options for you to pick from: 1. Take the lure back to the store where you purchased it for refund or replacement. 2. Send the lure to us for replacement. ive quit buying Rapala baits all together. Thats why your name is Skunked Again and Mine's not heh..............if, IF im not catching fish like i caught fish with the DT's i might be forced to do things id rather not. im excited to see how other baits work.

  12. get the ultra soft, its much better.
  13. i had an 884 savage, its a great boat. i would take the time to inspect the trailer. as far as coming off a plane way2slow has a great idea. nothing beats boat time though.
  14. i wonder how hard it would be for daiwa, abu, shimano, so on to offer not just 6.3:1 in these reels. id love to see a 3.8:1, maybe a 4.5:1...

  19. i just won a 200E5 off ebay. didnt really have to have the reel but refused to let it go to some one else for $130. an a side note the DT-Sol is worth a look. its currently my fav, piece.
  20. for $150? good deal? nevermind........lol
  21. either. i would, if you can, go to someplace that stocks them and mount them on the rod they will live on and get an over all feel for them. i like the stx a lot but.....i have the high speed unit and that i dont like.
  22. thats old school there. i fish with an older man on LOZ and all he had was a flasher and he put us on fish all day. course i assume it helps if you live there.
