IMO: save your money, use the gear you have, make sure you have cash to buy your fishing license. the fish will be there next year.

i LOVE risto raps. i have caught MANY fish on them. i still buy them off ebay. basser89, shoot me an email, maybe we can do some trading.

ive never seen one, but when you get yours id like to know what you think. for the price if nothing else it would be an ok bank rod.

i have used the bait, just not the #9. the bait does catch fish, all types of fish. last time i used it i caught more bluegill than anything. i like the action of the bait. the bait can be used as a jerk bait or a toss and crank.

that outlines what info to provide when asking for advise on the purchase od rods/reels. are you buying on line what retailers are you looking at spinning or casting general use or custom price range just a thought......

id figure out what type of real you wanted, then give ebay a good look.

Tired of constantly being broke & stuck in an unhappy marriage, a young husband decided to solve both problems by taking out a large insurance policy on his wife with himself as the beneficiary, & then arranging to have her killed. A 'friend of a friend' put him in touch with a nefarious dark-side underworld figure who went by the name of 'Artie.' Artie then explained to the husband that his going price for snuffing out a spouse was $5,000. The husband said he was willing to pay that amount, but that he wouldn't have any cash on hand until he could collect his wife's insurance money. Artie insisted on being paid at least something up front, so the man opened his wallet, displaying the single dollar bill that rested inside. Artie sighed, rolled his eyes, & reluctantly agreed to accept the dollar as down payment for the dirty deed. A few days later, Artie followed the man's wife to the local Super Wal-Mart store. There, he surprised her in the produce department & proceeded to strangle her with his gloved hands & as the poor unsuspecting woman drew her last breath & slumped to the floor ............ The manager of the produce department stumbled unexpectedly onto the murder scene. Unwilling to leave any living witnesses behind, good ol' Artie had no choice but to strangle the produce manager as well. However, unknown to Artie, the entire proceedings were captured by the hidden security cameras & observed by the store's security guard, who immediately called the police. Artie was caught & arrested before he could even leave the store. Under intense questioning at the police station, Artie revealed the whole sordid plan, including his unusual financial arrangements with the hapless husband who was also quickly arrested. The next day in the newspaper, the headline declared ... (You're going to hate me for this ... ) 'ARTIE CHOKES 2 for $1.00 AT WAL-MART!'

it would be nice to know if youre buying over the net, or if theres a store youre looking in. for $50 you can get an ok working mans rod.

i still like nascar. i try to not get caught up in the political money machine that nascar has become and just watch the racing. BTW.............already have my tickets for the vegas race.......its not the best track to see a race at but in the end youre still in vegas.

Odds are it is something, because your experience is outside the norm. Rapala is pretty much all I fish and I've never broken one. I still have a couple jointed minnows that I fished when I was in high school. I've only ever seen one break and that was due to user abuse. The freaking things like to get stuck between rocks though, but that goes for nearly everything I fish in that spot. had you ever broken one this is what they would look like.
