  1. I never thought that they made a difference until the other day when I went out with 4bizz. I had my cheap $15 wal-mart specials and he had a pair of costa del mars. I compared the two...well actually there was no comparision, I want a pair now. Definately worth it to get a more expensive pair of glasses.
  2. Try using Normans, they are 4 bucks, but have alot of variety and colors to choose from. A majority of my CB's are normans. I've had 1 that wasn't true when I took it out, but the rest run straight. I'm pretty happy with these for the price.

agreed! It just sorta sucked me in. Just curious, anybody got any comments to share about the black smoke apparition thingy? I did the freeze frame thing back when it killed echo in whatever season it was, and there were faces in the smoke. I couldn't tell who it was though. Again, they have introduced 1756 new twists, but there are still some they need to explain. Black smoke, the foot statue, the machine sounding thingy that drug locke into a hole, you get the point. I heard that when the creaters of the show started making it, their plans were to take it until 2010!!!! Can they really create another 1 million twists in another 2 years??? All I know is that this show is addicting.
  4. Sounds like you got your hands full for this year!!!! I got a couple goals 1.New PB 2. Gain confidence in jigs 1.New PB 3.Gain some confidence in Swimbaits 1.New PB 4. Deep structure fishing
  5. SOunds cool How small is the BBZ going to be?
  6. Use what everyone just told you. That's great info. When I go to ponds, I will throw a DT 4 or DT 6 in bluegill, it knocks them dead.
  7. The spro is the first swimbait I bought and the first swimbait to produce fish for me. I've talked to some people who use them and they have a hard time catching anything with it. I think it's a pretty sweet bait, i've throwin it into a rock before and it came out fine, just a little chip in the paint. One thing I found out (Especially with the slow sink) is to have a drop shot or wacky rig close because I always get a ton of followers. Practice giving it a little jerk of the rodtip when you get a follower to turn the bait around in the water. Sometimes they strike after doing that. Good luck and nice baits.
  8. The bite may have sucked for me, but it was freakin awesome just to get out on the water. My boat has been in the shop since last november, so this was my first fishing trip in 3 months. Now the boats runny great, i'm totally confident in it now and can't wait to get the year rollin. That release pic did turn out sweet. Thanks forbizz for tagging along.
  9. They invented sick days for a reason

    Welcome aboard.
  12. Impeller, Gas hose and bulb.
  13. I got some of these for mine, they cost 10-15. very versitile
  14. I've always liked bob. He reminds me of my old H.S. basketball coach. He was one angry S.O.B. but let me tell you, he knew his stuff. He was there for 3 years, and each year he brought us deeper into the playoffs, something our school had never done. He quit at the end of my senior season. After he left the school has never been back to the playoffs. Sometimes it takes a real hard a$$ to get where you want to go. I'm definately sad to see him go. Let's see if his son can take over.
  15. I guess at first the link was a little misleading, but now it actually says 6" huddleston. I've had mine for a month or so, but haven't really thrown them much except to see the action. I"m sure they will whack them this year
  16. So i was browsing through the ebay swimbait's and look what I found. Take a look: http://cgi.ebay.com/link-to-buy-6-huddleston-deluxe-swimbaits-for-25_W0QQitemZ120219219563QQihZ002QQcategoryZ31693QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem So let me get this straight....on auction is a LINK (Which will cost you $2) to where you can buy a 6" hudd for $25. Tell you what guys, i'm going to put this guy outta business. Would it possibly be this linkhttp://www.huddlestonstore.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=17. HMMMM... that was a tough one, straight from the manufacture. At least he is throwing in FREE SHIPPING!!!! How stupid are people. Does he really think someone will buy that link. It really amazes me what people sell on ebay
  17. Again, I can't comment on the C4, but I own a Cardiff 400 that I throw Swimbaits with and let me tell you, that thing is a workhorse even after being abused by fourbizz for awhile. I don't know if your looking for a 100, 200, etc. But the 400 is a beast. It feels strong and durable so if I do drop it, i have confidence in it that it's not going to break.
  18. I've fished from a kayak before. I was trout fishing, but always did it in the worst weather. 15-20 mph winds my first time out. It got annoying after awhile. After reeling in once, I would be 50 feet from where I started. Second time out, got caught in a storm on the opposite side of the lake. It was a long paddle back to saftey. I do tube though and love it. Like you said it lets you get into skinny water. Sometimes it's nice not having to deal with trailing a boat and what not.
  19. I remember that. I couldn't get over uncle sam giving me money. Then I relized how much he already took from me and I was ticked. Now that I live out on my own and my parents can't claim me, i should be getting a lot more back this year. I'm getting a fixing my dirtbike, and getting a wake jr. and then putting away some. Can't wait.
  20. I"m tall, i'm white, and I fish.... what else do you need to know???? ok, I'm 21. I work for a grocery store(it sucks, but makes enough money for me to support my addiction and live out on my own +benefits) and just finished getting my A.A. in computer service tech. Currently working on finding a computer job.
  21. I heard that the speed at which it turns can vary depending on if your going fast or slow. If you are going slow, it will turn quicker If you are going fast, it will turn slower Don't know if it's true or not, but it kept me away from buying one. Last thing I wan't it to be cruising full bore on the TM and come to a giant rock pile and can't turn in-time.
  22. I gotta agree with everyone else on this Braid - i'll go until I don't have enought left on the spool Mono - If i'm fishing heavily, i'll change every 2-4 outings. But if i'm fishing a couple times a month, i'll do it once a month.
  23. Fish Chris is getting a smallie done right now. Here is a link to his thread. Might try talking to him.http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1201975685/all
  24. For those who put bets on the super bowl, how did you guys do. Personally I lost 60 in a bet with my buddy (I guess I can't win two years in a row, last year I won 120) And then in an work bet, I won 20.
  25. This is another question that comes down to preference. I've only used two types of braid. Spider Wire and suffix. Hands down suffix is way better. I used it on a reel for a year and a half until I didn't have enough to function. Yea it lost the green tint, but that is all it lost. I probably will never use another braid. I tried some spiderwire and it was so stiff i could make design's with it. just wasn't the same.
