  1. i keep a can of spray silicone in my truck and every couple of times i launch i will spray my bunks down before i load up. just dont spray where u walk
  2. briggs and stratton make a 5 hp 4 stroke for around 6oo$, it is fir freshwater only. do a google on b&s
  3. put a trolling motor on the transom. thats how i do it
  4. i thuoght about doing the same thing. instead i just spray my bunks down with a silicone spray. if u want to u can rub a candle over them.

  9. a am trying to hook my 12 volt trolling motor up to the batteries.i have a 14 ft jon boat that iam rigging up,dou have info on the way to do it right, do i need a inline fuse?

  11. i used one for years also. in small lakes i would stand up when alone. i never used it in large lakes. in ga we have to register every thig with a motor also. no insurance required
  12. the bps salesman told me he wouldnt sell a tadpole unless forced to. look for a used 14 ft wide jon boat. or sell me your motor and concentrate on school

  16. bps is having a sale on the minn kota legend 565 trolling motor. does anyone have an opinion on this motor? 46# of thrust w/ a 42 in shaft, iwill be mounting it on my 14 ft wide body jon boat.

  18. yeah i would go with the basshunter, 9 ft minimum, u can stand up in this. with one person they work great
  19. how about this ? what water temp do u look for to really begin fishing? 50 degrees or higher? i usually start fishing hard at the end of feb[in middle ga]. what would the ideal water temp be?
  20. no. iam concerned with the angle of the mount. do i line it up with the left angled edge or is strait on better. u can see my boat at g3 .com the 1444
  21. cabelas sells a small rechargeable deep cycle battery, but think about a portable fishfinder,i fished out of a similar boat for years,the lakes were relatively shallow,i found a fishfinder useless because of the narrow cone angle
  22. the front deck has tmo sectiuons,a flat deck at the front of the boat and a step down that is the actual fishing platform. the front part is reinforced wiyh plywood. the back section has plywood and flotation foam.
  23. shop around for a used jon boat. u can move your trolling motors over to it
  24. in ga its 9$ a year now,add in your trout stamp for 5 and a wma stamp for 19, a non resident is 24 or 7 for a week, still pretty cheap
  25. does any one have any experience with led trailer lites? are they better than bulbs. do they burn out. are they easy to install?
