  1. Hey all you jig fisherman out there! How thick do you like your jig skirts? Besides color and what it's made out of (round rubber, silicone, etc.), what do you look for in a skirt? I like compact skirts on the bulkier side for flipping jigs, nothing too crazy. I think of the skirt as trailer accent on my lighter ones, just there to add a little flair and body...but mostly relying on a craw trailer. I'm curious because I went to a fishing expo this weekend and saw a lot of hand tied stuff. This got me thinking, what are these guys thinking? There was a large spread in quality and thickness of the skirts with the little guys. The big guys are different too. Here is a jig x, which looks to me to have a pretty bulky skirt. And this is the evolution flipping series. Which looks thinner but with a large profile. A penny for your thoughts edit: images didn't come through the first time
  2. Allen, Did you get it at the fishing expo? I saw them there, and they look awesome. The ones I liked were the 0-5' one knocker with a tungsten knocker and the liquid inside. Their lipless cranks looked good too. Watch out Lucky Craft! This is the same company that tackle tour did a review on their topwater walking bait a little while back. didn't bring my 15$ a crank wallet...maybe next time My guess is that T-rig already has 6 or 7
  3. The "restaurant" is set up buffet style. Prices aren't bad, I had the BBQ pulled pork sandwich last time I went. It was tasty.
  4. Thanks for the heads up speedbead. I'm still going to go, just not as early. I've never been to one of these before.
  5. Anyone else going? What days? I'm going this saturday. http://fishingexpo.com/
  6. I might be there. It's only a short 2 hours away. I do have a gift card, too bad I can't use 25$ of it on gas. How much stuff do I have to buy to cost 25$ in shipping and handling? Then there is getting a chance to meet some BR members, that's worth something too.

  8. Try tying with a loop knot. I've noticed an increased glide on walking baits and jerk baits.
  9. He just added a few new colors over the weekend with more on the way. Some of them will be on their way to my place shortly.

  14. Sounds good LBH, but just think about all those custom shades of jet black you could be making! Brent has always done right for me and hopefully he'll add some 5 and 4" grubs by spring.
  15. I bought one last season because I was curious...black w/blue 1/2 oz Great feel on the bottom. Incredible skirt action. Poorly placed rattle. Poor trailer retention. Nice hooks. my face on every little snag. That's just not how I like to fish.
  16. LBH I don't know why I didn't put this together sooner...But wouldn't you be a prime candidate for setting up shop at home? What are your thoughts?
  17. have you looked at del-mart.com?
  18. Delos is throwing in an extra 20$ and then there is the shimano rebate. I wish they made a lefty citica 100. Would have gobbled them up from delos...
  19. That's awesome guys! I hope you keep pouring and posting.

My vote is for a bag that holds the 3700 or 3701.
  22. How many worms is that? How much plastic did it take? Trying to figure how far that stuff goes. Hmm stick kit: around 100$$ Modified pour pot: 20 something $ additional plastisol, 2 piece aluminum molds, hardener, softener, heat stabilizer, color, glitter...hours of satisfaction making and then catching with your very own baits. priceless. Thanks Cory

True, most bass don't care what we paid for our lures or tackle. ;D Yesss, a thousand times yes!
