  1. I saw on another forum that the hole size only works with Okuma reels.

    Actually, yes. ;D
  3. The Fuego is a higher quality reel with better construction than the Aggrest, and it's at a lower price. It seems like a no-brainer to me.
  4. Daiwa TD Ito 103M Evergreen Temujin 66MH "Air Driver" Sunline Super Natural 10 lb.
  5. The Pixy is the best at casting light lures on the market and would be best if you plan on throwing mostly weightless plastics. The Core 50 is no slouch either and throws weightless plastics well and texas rigs even better. The Pixy is a finesse reel so it has limited line capacity. A new one can cost anywhere from $290-$340, and lightly used ones can be had for $250-$280. A Pixilla is a Pixy with an aftermarket carbon fiber handle, new spool bearings, a drag upgrade, and a worm drive bearing to replace the busing.
  6. Why not get a 7' MH Compre? You want the most sensitive rod you can afford for Jigs.
  7. Carolina played well for a "rebuilding" team and being on the road. But I'm glad they lost.
  8. Early season, non-conference. It's a good wake up call to get beat in the early season. I still think Duke will reach the Final Four.
  9. Another one in Jamestown, North Carolina.
  10. Leave it alone. It's got to eat too, and chances are it won't have any noticeable impact on your fishing. I fish at a couple ponds with otters and still catch plenty of bass.

  12. G Loomis MBR782 GLX Daiwa Alphas 103 Sunline Super Natural 10 lb. You could find a new or slightly used MBR782 IMX online for around $150. Both the IMX and GLX versions of the MBR782 are perfect for topwaters.

A woman should not have to get hit by a car to learn that she may have rabies!
  14. It's a great marketing plan by Strike King. Any other shad pattern is just as effective.

    False: Black Bear.
  16. I believe it's an 8 weight. An 8 weight is probably too heavy for Bluegill and Crappie. It would be very difficult to throw the little foam spiders and nymphs that Bluegill like. It is however, a good rod for bass, because you could throw the big flies that largemouths love with it.
  17. What weight fly rod do you have? That will determine what size flies you can throw. Start out with some Wooly Buggers, Clouser Minnows, and poppers. These will catch all of the different fish you mentioned.

I agree that they have underachieved somewhat the past few seasons. But the rest just sounds like sour grapes from a Colts fan. Rivers does have some good wideouts to throw too, but don't forget that Peyton had Harrison, Wayne and Clark in those playoff loses (probably the best group of recievers at the time). They did lose afterwards both times, but to the eventual champion Steelers and the undefeated Patriots. Besides, if they were that lucky to beat Indy both times, I guess there was no possible chance of them getting lucky and winning the Pittsburg or New England game.

Oh yeah, ;D they went 8-8 and made the playoffs only because they were a division winner. Meanwhile, the Patriots went 11-5 and missed the playoffs. :-? When NewAngler posted that the Chargers 'will prevail like before', I thought he had something good. The Chargers are expected to win the west with the roster they have and playing in the weakest division in football. Prevailing though? Hardly. Hey, a playoff birth is a playoff birth. And they did beat the 12-4 Colts before losing to the eventual champions. I'm sure the Raiders would love a 9-8 record and a playoff win, but, well...... Bruce Gradkowski. ;D

I think he is definitely in the top 5. He led the league in touchdown passes and had the highest QB rating last year. He has the third highest passer rating among active players (ahead of Tom Brady), and does it behind a mediocre offensive line. He hasn't won a Superbowl yet, but neither has Drew Brees and he is considered an elite QB. The main reason Rivers hasn't won one is because of the weak Charger secondary. When did this happen?? :-? Last year in the AFC West race.

  22. I fished the 4" version for several hours in several different locations and never had a bite. I tried different retrieves but still caught nothing. I sold the two I had.
  23. Other than the Live series, I think they are worth the cash.
  24. Flappin' Hawgs are the best jig trailer I've used. I would've bought every pack they had if I come across that deal.
