  1. The Cabelas Flouro is made by Seaguar, so it's basically Seaguar InvisX in a different box.
  2. Yep, WEC stands for for the founder of Zoom's initials (William Edward Chambers I think is his name). He makes the lures and sells them under the Zoom WEC name.
  3. I've never used one, but I think you would be better off with a reel made by an established company like Abu Garcia, Shimano, Diawa, Pflueger or even a Cabelas or BPS brand reel. They have good reputations for quality products. Besides, 9.8 ozs is pretty heavy for a low-pro baitcaster. JMHO.
  4. Here's some I've tried and think are worth it: Zoom WEC Sand Flea Zoom WEC Sweet P Zoom WEC Z-Flat I also have a Zoom Mutt that I have not fished yet but I'm sure it will be a good bait as well. Brian's Bees are next on my list.
  5. I saw that too but forgot to post it. A legend in the making. ;D

That's a great fish. The state record here is 4 lbs. 15 ozs, but my PB is only 1 lb. 8 ozs.

Dave's Tournament Tackle. He builds a very high quality spinnerbait and is a great guy to deal with.

    Yum Plastics.....

I'm a Kevin Harvick fan, but I also root for Dave Blaney because I went to school with his son for 7 years.
  10. For me it is much easier to speed up my retrieve instead of slowing down a higher speed reel. Especially for lures like crankbaits and spinnerbaits.
  11. You know what Mud Minnows are also great for? Flounder Bait. ;D
  12. Very nice, and it even comes in a 6:3:1 gear ratio.
  13. Roboworm 6" Straight Tail.
  14. and 4" Berkley Chigger Craws.
  15. I would stick with Lizards. I like other creature baits better than Brush Hogs.
  16. I think it is very important in some situations, but minimally important in most. My most productive crankbaits are not the ones with the most realistic paint jobs, but are the ones with the profiles and actions bass usually like best.
  17. Well the farmer's tan fades a little bit, but it's still there.
  18. Jackall makes some of my favorite baits. I really like the Flick Shake worms and the Giron.
  19. The finishes on them are very durable on most of the colors. Some of finishes get rubbed off by the hooks, but it does not effect the action which is the important part.

It's 60 degrees today, I hope it stays for a while so the fishing will get better.
  21. G. Loomis, St Croix is a close second.
  22. The brand of the product matters much more to me than whoever endorses it. For example, I will never buy anything from Shakespeare, even if (for some reason) KVD endorsed it.
  23. I think Man vs. Wild is a little more entertaining because of all the crzay stunts he does. A lot of them are staged, but I still think they're pretty cool. I like Survivorman also because he shows you many different survival techniques. I think he does a better job of actually showing you how to survive in those situations.
