  1. I've never liked Ingram's show. It just seems like a long, boring infomercial to me. My favorites are Hook & Look, A Day on the Lake, Scott Martin Challenge, and WGFS.
  2. Another addition to the crankbait list..... :-/
  3. I agree 100% Hey 5bass, which models of the Brian's Bees are your favorites?
  4. Berkley Trilene 100%. I've also tried BPS XPS, Seaguar InvisX, and Berkley Vanish but the Trilene 100% is my favorite out of all of them.
  5. What type of pond was it and where in the state? Usually the bass ae done spawnig or near the end of the process by late March/early April. That's strange that they would still be deep that late in the spring, unless they had spawned early and already moved out. It is actually in the Outer Banks. It is about half the size of a football field and about 10 feet deep in the middle. It is full of dinks with a few abnormally larger ones. It has a little bit of sand in it and a weed edge that extends a few feet from the bank. The most difficult part of all is I can't figure out the primary forage in it. It was stalked a few years ago, (in a new house plan) but I havent seen a single bluegill or crawfish. I'm thinking they stocked bluegill and they just got wiped out. Thanks Jake Well the Outer Banks are usually warm year round so I bet they spawn in early to mid March. It was also cold all week last year so it may be different. Besides topwaters, what other lures (preferably soft plastics) would you recommend? Thanks For soft plastics, I like the GYCB Kreature, Netbait Paca Craws, and Zoom Baby Brush Hogs just to name a few. I know they aren't soft plastics, but shallow cranks should also do well.

Finallly we're getting snow. It's been long enough. Pop Secret. ;D

For jigs, I like PB&J better when the water is clear and colors like Green Pumpkin better when the water is stained.
  8. Clark learned from watching all of Hines Ward's cheap shots..... :-X
  9. Even if they somehow find a way to keep Fitz contained, Boldin is an equally dangerous threat downfield. The Steelers will have to get pressure on Kurt Warner, or the Cards could jump out to an early lead and leave Big Ben and company in the dust. Cards 31 Steelers 24 Go Cardinals (beat Pittsburg).
  10. Great fish!
  11. I think that's what they want you to think. When you compare the simialar models the weights, lengths and details are different. The crankbaits also have different shaped bills.
  12. BPS loves to knock off Lucky Craft.

  15. What is that white stuff called? :-?
  16. Here's a thread about them: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1225108039/7#7
  17. 6" Roboworm Straight Tail. They're hand-poured which gives them a little quiver that bass can't resist.
  18. I have started using living rubber more because it flares more and has better action, but it's hard to beat the colors that you can produce with silicone.
  19. The lowest It got here was about 12 or 13 degrees. It needs to go away soon. If I wanted this kind of weather I would move up North. >
  20. You would be surprised at how many pros have certain crankbaits that they use when money is on the line that they keep a secret for the most part, including KVD. That being said, I'd bet Rick Clunn or David Fritts could beat me or probably any of us with a $0.99 Wal-Mart crank.
  21. Well, I've been wanting to get a swimbait rod for a while now. I'm going to start throwing a 3:16 Baby Wake along with your new hard bluegill. I'd be happy to catch a bass even half the size of that 17lber you posted.
  22. The Shad looks good but they are totally different from the Hard Bluegill. The bluegill has a lot bigger profile and is heavier. I really want to try one but I would have to get a new rod to throw it on. Darn Monkey....
  23. That Baby Mad Paca looks like it will be a great bed bait in the spring.

  25. I willl spend the extra money on custom cranks because I believe they will help me catch more fish. Lots of them have unique actions that bass don't see very often. It's all about what you have confidence in.
