  1. They would match perfectly with a cane pole.
  2. It's a great reel with a very smooth retrieve and drag. And I got it on closeout for $50 instead of $80, so that made it even better.
  3. Shimano Symetre 750 FI St. Croix Triumph 5'0" UL 4 lb. Sufix Elite or 2 lb. Triene 100% Flouro Looking to upgrade the rod, it's too whippy for my liking.
  4. I like the Berkley 100% best, but I've tried the BPS XPS and it was a good line. It is a little stiffer than the 100% but it does have good abrasion resistance.

I agree, this is a great box for your hooks. You will like it! x infinite!!!!! it's a great box and well worth the money. You won't get your hooks falling into other compartments. You won't be dissapointed. x4, I have one and love it.
  6. Anyone tried the Ima Rock n' Vibe? They look great, but I haven't heard much about them.
  7. He caught it on a live minnow. Get da Bucket!
  8. Zona gets my vote, Ike is also good. I can't stand Chaw-lie Moore.
  9. Nice fish, it must have been the hat.
  10. I use them in warm, stained to murky water most of the time. They are very bouyant and are good at defelcting off of snags.
  11. 66* here tomorrow, 70* on Sunday, not bad at all.
  12. Welcome from the High Point area.
  13. New St. Croix Avid AC66MF: $99 New G Loomis GLX MBR783C: $255
  14. "Custom crankbaits" are hand made lures that are produced in limited amounts and then sold to the public or dealers. For example, Zoom bait company owner Ed Chambers hand makes different crankbaits that he sells as "Zoom WEC Custom Lures". Another example is Brian's Bees out of North Carolina: http://brianscrankbaits.com/ You don't actually order a crankbait that is custom made to your specifications. These lure makers have different models of lures to purchase just like the larger companies like Rapala and Lucky Craft, but the major difference is that each lure is hand made unlike the mass produced crankbaits. Custom cranks can vary in price, but usually run in the $15-$25 range.
  15. Yep, and a lot more pros than people realize.....

  17. Floater: Rapala Original Suspend: Lucky Craft Pointer 78sp or 100sp
  18. Go with the Avid, they are very sensitive rods. The one RW recommended is a good pick. 8-)
  19. That's ironic..... :-?
  20. 1. Sailfish 2. Tarpon 3. Peacock Bass in South America 4. King Mackerel
  21. I'd definitely go with a baitcaster. Spinning reels generally have a high IPT (inches per turn), which will prevent your crankbait from reaching its maximum depth unless you crank extra slowly. Also, there are much more crankbait dedicated rods made for baitcasting reels than there are for spinning reels.
  22. Sounds like you didn't have any to begin with. : Yep, your right. There wasn't much when the games started. But after watching this play: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nG9GXtr9rpY along with Ike Taylor trying to pick a fight with Bolidin, there isn't any left.
  23. I lost whatever respect I had left for the Steelers last night.
  24. That's barely stained where I come from.
  25. I like a 3/0 EWG best.
