  1. I don't think there is an E6, just an E5 and E7.

FTO harbait boxes will fix the tangling issue.
  3. The Sebile Magic Swimmer 125 and Jackall Giron are both 3/4 oz and have caught fish for me. They aren't very big for swimbaits though.
  4. Do you fish anything less than XH rods and 80 lb. braid? ;D
  5. I think he went out of business......I tried to contact him a while back and he never would respond (and his eBay store is gone.) That really stinks, his cranks looked great and I really wanted to try some.
  6. Well, hopefully up. ;D
  7. 10 lb. would be OK if you were fishing in mostly open water or sparse cover. I would bump the size up to 12 lb. or more if you fish in water with alot of thick cover.
  8. That's one thing I've gotta do before I go, fish for Peacocks in South America.
  9. You're missing a lot if you don't fish crankbaits....

ESPN reported that Auburn fired him yesterday.
  11. Welcome!
  12. I usually prefer balsa wood, especially for flatsides.
  13. For me, tight wiggling cranks work well all year, while the wobblers will have their certain days when they crush the fish. I will throw a tight action crank in muddy or clear water, it doesn't matter if the water is warm or cold. The natural actions of flat sided cranks just seem to get bit more consistantly.
  14. No, I prefer Flounder.
  15. I'm gonna have to agree with Ike on this one (and I'm a Duke fan so I'm not biased ;D ). Texas beat OU, that's all there is to it. It doesn't matter how bad OU beat Tech.
  16. Mosquitoes Those people who keep everything they catch at a local pond, even 4-5 inch bass, and keep them all in a plastic shopping bag. >

A hair jig is usually used for Smallmouth Bass or in cold water conditions. When you fish them slowly along the bottom the hair pulsates or "breathes" with any movement or water current. They have a different action then the standard jigs that use silcone or rubber for skirt material. I always set the hook with a jig right after I feel the "thump" of a bite or see any unusual line movement.
  18. I like a 5 ft UL fast action rod. 4 ft isn't long enough IMO.
  19. x2 FTOs are the best way to go.
  20. They are really cool looking baits. I haven't pulled the trigger on any Visions yet, but I've been wanting to. How do you like them compared to Pointers?
  21. Lucky Craft Pointers are $15 dollars but are the best and worth every penny IMO. You could could try some Rapala X-Raps which run about $7-8. I've never tried any Bomberr jerkbait.
  22. Poppers have different actions just like any other lure. Some will spit more than they chug, and vice versa.
  23. Yup, their coloring varies alot. I like the dark colored ones myself, they just look cool. 8-)
  24. That's a largemouth as well. I doubt there are smallmouth in that lake, because from the looks of it it is muddy and shallow which is usually not good habitat for smallmouths. The current world record is 11 pounds and 15 ounces, caught in Tennessee.
