I like a M/XF rod for jigs in the 1/4 oz. range. If you use anything much heavier I would go with a MH/F or MH/XF though.

One must have color for jigs is black and blue. It is the only color I use unless the water is clear.

For those of you that have fished this wakebait, how did you like it? I've seen alot of mixed reviews so far.

Well, I caught some fish using the baits over the weekend. No big ones yet, but I'm sure they will come. 3 came on a 5" Senko, and 2 came on a Fishbelly Hawg Shad. Thanks again Robert! My friend has one and I fished with him when he used it. He only caught one fish, but it was a solid 3 pounder. It doesn't really have a walk-the-dog action like a Spook or Sammy, but more of a wider gliding action.
