I agree 100%. With the talent Merriman has, I can't understand why he would put his career in jepordy like this. He has so many great years ahead, just sit this one out and be ready for next season.

Is anyone else having a lot of sucess with this rig? I don't use the Jackall worms, just a 6" Roboworm Straight Tail on the wacky jighead. I can't keep the bass off of them at the local ponds.

Definitely Pinfish. They are a nuisance when fishing for gamefish, but they can be pretty fun on ultralight tackle.
