  1. A snake that didn't need to be killed. :
  2. clear to slightly stained: Watermelon stained to muddy: Green Pumpkin
  3. Who told you that? ;D
  4. The general consensus is that line as heavy as 20 lb. should be used on casting gear. Some use spinning gear for Stripers, but the majority use casting. Try a search as well, this topic has been discussed several times and you will be able to read several more opinions on the subject.
  5. Those big Grass Carp can scare the **** out of you if you walk past one that is up shallow in a pond and they dart off. Nice catch.
  6. The design of baitcasters intends for you to crank with your weaker hand and hold the rod in your dominant hand. But all fishermen don't do it this way. Use whatever you are comfortable with.
  7. x2 I would love to see Brady throwing passes to him. ;D The Patriots are already set at WR. Trade Johnson to the Chargers. 8-)
  8. Shaky heads, drop shot rigs, and weightless plastics (other than Senkos, they are fairly heavy) would all work well on a ML rod as long as it has a fast action. If it has a moderate action I would use it for small crankbaits.
  9. Trading away Ernie Simms for a 5th round pick? :-X
  10. $450 is a good price considering that the A.O.I. is almost impossible to find these days (there were only 300 made). As long as it isn't heavily used I would go for it.
  11. Or a heavier spinning rig.
  12. It depends on the reel. Some can only cast lures down to 1/4 ounce effectively, while some can cast lures that weigh only 1/32 ounce. With most, the lowest you can go is somewhere around 3/16 ounce. This should help:
  13. Johnny Cash George Strait Jamey Johnson (one of the few from today's era that sings real country)
  14. I bet that they were carp.
  15. I would take 2 casters: Daiwa Steez 103HA/Dobyns DX703C/10 lb. Seaguar InvizX Daiwa Alphas 103/Dobyns 684CB/10 lb. Sunline Super Natural
  16. Try asking here.... www.ncangler.com
  17. They also changed the gear ratio, spool, and braking system.
  18. Nice fish, but isn't that a Pickerel?
  19. Did you see Coach K after the game? If that wasn't great sportsmanship, then I don't know what is. I think the real "poor sportsmanship" comes from fans that fans that can always find something to complain about when a certain team they don't like wins (I'm not referring to anyone here).
  20. There have been several negative reports on them involving breakage and the points not staying sharp on another forum. I will stay with Owner.
  21. Stiffness does not equal sensitivity. I would be willing to bet that the Quantum rod is more sensitive than an Ugly Stick.
  22. NIT
