Sasquatch
Holy Cow, this has turned into, hypothetically speaking , pun intended, the most scientific peeing contest in quite a while. For those still tuned in, suffice it to say I am not a believer of bigfoot. However, I do absolutely believe in the abominable snowman, the yeti, the Easter Bunny, the Great Pumpkin, Scooby-doo, and of course, Santa Claus. I will not be posting any scientific links to back up my beliefs. Feel free to resume with the peeing.

Sasquatch
Obviously Sasquatch is real. C'mon guys, I see him nearly daily. He plays the lead character in the "Messin with Sasquatch" Jack Links commercials!

Cowboys Vs. Giants
Good win for the 'Boys. 13 penalties for 86 yards certainly leaves them with much to work on. My complaint with Dallas over the last 7-8 years is they have enough good players to win 10 games or so every year, but they have been weak mentally...often times beating themselves as much as being beaten. O-line is still just AWEFUL. I heard or read one sportswriter sat that they don't need more time to gel, they just need better lineman! No piling on here, Giants, Eagles, what looks to be an improved Redskins team...should be a fun year. And let me also say that it seems EVERYONE from Jerry Jones to the talking heads VASTLY overrates the talent on this team ...year in and year out.

How Many Have Said, "no More Spending."?
Heck Yeah, I like your way of thinking!!!

Cowboys Vs. Giants
Being a huge cowboy fan for about the last 42 years, I am looking forward to the NFL kickoff tonight. Being an even bigger realist, my team has way too many holes, and not nearly enough playmakers to compete. O-line is in shambles, no pass rush other than Ware, and neither safety is anything more than average. Predictions????

How Many Have Said, "no More Spending."?
I buy used, markdowns, sale items, model closeouts, and items from the flea markets. The way I figure it, If I would have paid full retail for my fishing stuff, I would have spent thousands more....So...technically...I am saving money. Right?

R.i.p. Clarke Duncan
He had many "voice" only roles in several kids themed movies and shows. And I agree, he was a fine actor. I saw him do an interview on one of the late shows...very funny man, and very humble. Likeable. He will be missed.

Summer / Fall Transition = Tough Fishing
Really slow bite here as well. Have had little to no success, day or night, with almost any type lure. I fish from the bank, and really just try to cover the water column at each stop. the order will usually vary, but at each stop I will throw some form of topwater, a few moving baits including Red eye shad, crankbait, and spinnerbait with varying retrieves, the rage craw or paca craw, and a senko. Last few trips...two bites. Just really seems much tougher this summer than ever before. Also, Really nice fish A-Jay.

Yo-Zuri Hybrid: Ultra Soft Or Regular For My Revo Sx?
I currently have a couple baitcasters spooled with regular yo-zuri hybrid, both #10 and #12. I also have a couple spooled with yo-zuri hybrid ultrasoft...same sizes. For baitcasters, I like the regular better. I seem to have less backlashes....could just be me obviously. I have found the exact opposite to be true with my spinning reels. I much prefer the ultra soft in #6 on my spinning reels. Try both, the lines are very modestly priced. Let us know what works for you.

Shimano Cumara Vs. Phenix Recon
I have never fished a phenix, but do have the 7'4" cumara heavy power fast action, and I can feel EVERYTHING when dragging a jig around. Incredibly sensitive rod. Have had no problems detecting the bites I have had on this rod. I have only had it about a month, but I really, really like it. Good luck with your decision.

Rod Covers
I agree on the cabelas rod covers. they are made of a tough nylon? type material, but the inside is really slick which makes it very easy to get cover on/off. Also, the drawstring keeps rod cover on. Plus, if you watch, they go on sale for 3.99 or 4.99 pretty often, which is a decent price.

What Breed Of Dog Do You Own?
Brittany spaniel. Didn't post a pic, but if you look up the breed and there is a pic...she looks exactly like that. It is amazing how much they all look alike. While not the best dog we have ever had...that would be a poodle...teacup size...smartest dog ever and ferociously defended his family. He lived to be 18 before we had to have him put down...tears me up just thinking about him. Anyway, sorry for the digression, but the Brittany is named Gabby. Wonderful dog, rarely barks is and surprisingly calm. Very good dog with my 7 year old son.
