Cabelas had the stradic FJ 2500 series on sale in store for 119.00. You could get two for a bit more than your stated budget. They are REALLY nice.

I was checked frequently the first couple years I fished. The wardens would pull over and ask to see my license. I don't know if they recognize me, or they have less time, but I have not been checked in the last 3 years or so. They have always been friendly, asked if I was catching anything, and telling me good luck. No complaints.

And second place isn't even close. What the Pistol did in three years is utterly amazing, especially when one considers how much effort the other teams gave trying to stop him...box n 1 defenses, sometimes even triangle & 2....with 2 guys simply trying to shut down Maravich. Amazing.

Regarding the lie detector testing accuracy, I worked at a retail outlet and had two "bookkeepers" who balanced the receipts every day. One day all the cash from one register came up missing. Three of us took a polygraph test, as only three of us were in the store at the time of the "crime". Only 1 person was alone with the money yet she passed her polygraph. I have no faith in them.

I actually had a guy troll thru yesterday and ask which direction I was heading, and if I minded if they went around me and fished down the bank. Refreshing, and it is usually not the case, but it was certainly appreciated.

I can't seem to buy a bite with my 7 inch thumper worms? How are you guys fishing them? I have been texas rigging with a small 1/8 or 3/16 sinker unpegged and employing a "lift and drop" technique??? Any suggestions?

a little of topic, but goes with scheduling "creampuffs" Jim Tressel and Ohio State schedule the Akron and Kent State's of the world for their openers, or even their first two games,for which Tressel explained that if we (Ohio State) are going to pay people to come play at Ohio State, why shouldn't we pay other Ohio schools to help them with their athletic programs. Yes it is a misdirection ploy , but it does have some validity to it.

Way too early to tell WHO it may be yet, but it is very likely that we know WHERE the team will come from....the SEC. Being an Ohio State fan, it is painful to admit, but right now, and for the last several years, the SEC teams are clearly better than the rest of the country. THe only thing that may hurt the SEC teams is the league is so competitive, that they could actually beat each other over the course of the season and lose out on a title game to ... say an undefeated Wisconsin team and an undefeated Stanford team or some scenario like that. From what I have seen so far, I am putting LSU at the front of the line.

I think that is pathetic. A man, another human being just underwent the third surgery on his neck, will miss his work for who knows how long, and you are cheering that???? Dude, you have some serious issues.

I don't think that means they will credit something that is 20 years old and worn completely out as defective, but based on some of the returned items in the bargain cave at cabelas, it is clear they take care of their customers. My personal experience, I had a parka/bib insulated set oof hunting wear. after wearing it for 3 years, I started getting wet around my right shoulder. I emailed ccabelas, told them I didnt think they should be leaking as I only wore them while hunting...which was maybe 15 times a year, and I carried them to the stand so I wasnt wading thru briars and such. They emailed me back the same day and told me I could exchange or return them.

It took not only courage but INTEGRITY for you to do what is absolutely the right thing. Your character and integrity are to be respected and admired, while Wellman's lack of both traits unfortunately showed through as well. You should hold your head high and be proud as all the honest folks are proud of you.

Just razzing you a bit. If LSU makes it to the title game, they do have a HUGE advantage with it being played in the Superdome...basically a home game for them. I can't, at this point, see any team going in there and beating them in that environment. I don't understand where all the "statistics" people are coming from...LSU plays GREAT defense, has GREAT special teams, and is LOADED with NFL caliber athletes. They normally run the ball very well, and are well coached. People don't give Les Miles enough credit for being one of the top five coaches in America, IMO. He wins, and recruits top 10 classes every year.

So Catt, are you saying the home field advantage helps????
