Glad to hear you are doing well. I have had not had any issues with Cabelas or Bass Pro when dealing with their customer service. They have exchanged several items they had no business doing so, but I asked and they took care of me.

Catt, I went to Lake Conroe. they were absolutely knocking slack in the line. I fished a blade and a crankbait out off the river channel. Largest was just over 4 lbs. and I caught 17 in 4 hours though most would not make the 16" mininum. Made up for the *** kicking we took from the wind Saturday. I am planning on going next Tuesday if the weather is not to bad if you would like to join me. I tried my best to get them to eat a jig and t-rig, but never had a sniff.

Big Game fan here. Been fishing it for years without any problems.

Going to be lots of unhappy elite pros when all the 09 contracts are laid on the table. In fact most should have been done several months ago. If they are just coming out now I bet many changes have been edited in and I bet there are a lot of sleepless nights around the circuit. We will hear more as we near the classic. Will be interesting to say the least.

Or we could have 30-40 mph winds. I won't say lockjaw, but feeling the bite and staying on an area would be a major issue.

Last Saturday a teenager was fishing a small crankbait in six feet of water and caught a bass weighing 13.07. It was donated to the Budweiser State Share-A-Lunker program in Athens Texas. He will receive a replica mount, jacket, and his picture on the wall of honor. Lake Conroe is well known for producing fish of this size. So much for the deep winter time fishing!

Join a club and go have fun. Most clubs have more boaters than nonboaters so you should have no problem securing a ride each month. Another thing, don't pair up with just one member. The more members you fish with the more you will learn. After the first 6 months or so you will have an idea as to who you would prefer to fish with and then you can start thinking about pairing up for the next year if it is allowed. Enjoy.

Four arrested came out of the main administration building. Most were for pot and illegal prescription drugs that they had no script for. If any was coke, I have not heard of it being mentioned.

It was 75 at 8:00 here this morning. It is now 44* with a 20-25 mph north wind. Had to turn off the a/c. Glenn, you are allowed a little whinning with the weather you guys get. Glad it is ya'll. Ours never last long.

Here in Houston we have had fifteen teachers and staff busted with drugs in their cars during school hours within the last two weeks. The teachers association has declared that drug testing all the teachers would be an invasion of their rights. Is it me or should we not have the right to test anyone teaching our children? Anyone else having this problem at their schools? Sad part is they announced that the drug dogs would be checking out all of the cars in the parking lots and the idiots are still hauling the drugs to school. If I am out of line on this just let me know. It sucks for the kids that want an honest education and for the parents to have to send their kids to any school like that. Thanks for letting me rant.
