Any dart throwers out there?
Been there done that and have even double "robin hooded" all three darts in a stack on top of the treble 19 playing steel tips ;D Cost me 15 dollars after shipping to replace the special shafts on my Bottelson GT darts. > Played steel tip leagues for 8 years but never went on the county state team. Those guys just get wayyy too serious and it isn't much fun. Used to get into a lot of local tournaments for soft tips.Makes an extra pay check on a Friday night a lot of times, unless of course I spent it all on beer. :

cranking the cliffs...
I'm no expert nor have I ever cranked a cliff but...You can tune a crank to run slightly in one direction. I have done this to make it bang into bridge pillings, retaining walls, and under docks. Same thing can be done with a spinnerbait, buzzbait, and topwater plug.

- Follow up Bait
Senko or trickworm with a finishing nail in the rear.Froggin the slop I like a big t-rig worm.- is this a night thing
I have checked several translation websites and no meaning could be found. Please repeat the post in a language.Any language will do.- Raising Nightcrawlers?
Ahhh, Dave is a good guy,cut him some slack. He is young and curious.- Zoom fluke baits
It would be nice to make a sticky for flukes like the one for senkos.Add topwater frogs to the list too.- BR Lure Fun Season 2!
The other thread started out very well. There seems to be problems with updates and people keeping the lure for a month or so thus defeating the fun and purpose of the thread. : If you start a new one it would have to be passed around to us southern folk for a while.I'd be willing to give it a go for sure.We can catch bass year round on cranks Sign me up The only problem I forsee is that cranks can be lost easily :-/- If you have no money to pay your bills,
ROFL! ;D Good stuff there.- Need advice on spinnerbaits
Yep,but war eagle has a killer clear water skirt called "mouse"- Problem With Zoom Horny Toad
Another thing I like to do is rig with a 1/32-1/16 screw in weight on the front and let it drop into holes. The added weight causes more disturbance in the veggies also. Some days you just can't hook them on a toad, period.Other times they will choke it down before you can even set up. Try slowing down and using a spro bronzeye or dropping a texas rigged bait or senko type into the holes where they miss. Also try to get a hold of some floating buzz frogs such as a floating ribbit or gambler cane toad.In my experience these can make a huge difference on those short striking days. Try changing colors if they won't commit. All toads turn upside down and zoom is the worst.- Slow rolling a buzzbait
If you mean slow rolling on or near the bottom like a spinnerbait then no. Slow rolling a buzzbait to me means reeling slowly and just barely breaking or bulging the surface with it.Holding the rod high can help out as well. The Cavitron works well for this. Particularly effective on calm shallow water when at times the bass don't want all that noisy ruckus and commotion.A more subtle approach. Like any lure there is more than one method or speed to work it.Experiment and cast several times to a likely target using different speeds.- Some questions on trick sticks/senkos.
May as well throw in my .01 for the heck of it. My preference for hook sizes would be x-wide gaps in 3/0 for 5", 2/0 for 4",and a size 1 for the 3". As for storing them try to keep them or any plastics from extreme heat.Moisture is worse.Don't throw used ones back in the bag unless they are dry. This is a bigger issue for GYCB brand though.- Zoom Horny Toad Smells.
They don't smell they stink.Get some ribbits or sizmic toads. Btw,I think if plastisol is overcooked it will get a real pungent burnt type smell to it. Maybe someone who molds can answer,perhaps?- Double Rigged Fluke

Subject Multiple hooks/baits on one fishing line Discussion Thread Response (OED-SWRO-AL) 11/05/2008 10:08 AM Thank you for contacting the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). As long as one is fishing for gamefish with a rod and reel, there is no limit to the number of hooks / bait that may be on the line. FWC Customer Service Customer (Justin Groom) 11/05/2008 07:45 AM When fishing with a rod and reel for gamefish(bass in particular)is it illegal to have more than one bait or hook per line? (IE: 2 soft plastic baits with hooks tied to one line)- Double Rigged Fluke
Think I'll just keep doing what I do.I don't think it is cheating or being unfair.I am not using a cast net or a trot line with live shiners LOL.- Double Rigged Fluke
Interesting. Is there a difference for saltwater vs. freshwater? Whenever I go saltwater fishing we troll a rig with 4 hooks and a spoon trailer for spanish mackerel. Also like basn blvd said we use a sibiki(sp) for live bait, you can pull up 3 pinfish at a time. Or jigging/casting spoons with a small jig tied behind,or a topwater with a another small bait trailing behind. :-?- Square billed shallow runners
Rapala Dt Fat.6.99 to 8.99. I can throw them in some pretty heavy brush and laydowns.- Double Rigged Fluke
I haven't rigged it like Dominion Dan posted with one swivel. I am sure it would work.I will try it also. Here is a half azzed drawing of how I have done it.Total of 5 knots and takes about as long as rigging 2 carolina rigs.Note:leader lengths can be adjusted.- Double Rigged Fluke
A few things about this type of rig: It is not limited to using one type or size of bait only. I have used a combination of a SF jr with a regular,or a magnum with a regular. It looks like the bigger one is chasing the smaller one. You can used 2 different colors. You can put a bigger hook on or slightly weight one of them. I have used this rig for trickworms, finesse worms, senkos,or other french fry type baits. Changing the length of the leader line changes the actions also. There is virtually no limit to the combinations you can come up with. I have double wacky rigged baits doing this. This rig can be used on a carolina rig too. If your having one of those days where you just feel like screwing around on the water this can be fun to play with- Zoom Super Fluke
You should see the double rig with a magnum fluke on the rear and a regular size one on the front. One word, sick. - Follow up Bait
