  1. THEY know who you are and THEY know where you live and THEY know when you're around. Could possibly explain it even though it sounds kinda FISHY. Ahgagagaga!!!
  2. Well, Jessica Alba certainly doesn't fall into the "dink" category, IMO:o) Ahgagagaga!!! Any fish under legal limit size, EXCEPT in TEXAS and ALASKA:o)
  3. Jig + 4" coffee colored tube = my first bass this year (mid February). Gotta love those jigs, one of the all time best producers, IMO:o)
  4. OUTSTANDING and THANKS, Glenn!!! Mike really did sound like a "down to earth" kinda guy.
  5. Welcome to BR which is the BEST bass fishing forum on the Net, IMO. You can learn a lot about the various techniques from TV programs like Lindner's Angling Edge, Bass Pros, Bass Edge, etc. BR posts have an almost unlimited amount of information and if you can't find something already written, just ask, The great guys and gals on BR are eager to answer any and all questions. Again, welcome to BR!!
  6. Congratulations!! Like you, I learn something new everytime I visit BR. It's a Fantastic Forum,
  7. Welcome to the BEST bass fishing forum on the Net, IMO. As you can already see, there are many great guys and gals who will happily answer all your questions. I can't honestly say much about BC rods and reels since I'm new to them myself but most of the rest of the guys are extremely knowledgeable about them. Again, welcome to BR!
  8. Congratulations Dean!!! I had a feeling you'd get that job. Hope you don't end up eating too many of them 'dogs!! AND, now that you're gonna be making some bucks: BEWARE of the Curse of the Bait Monkey:o) Ahgagagaga!

Congratulations Aaron!! Isn't Minnesota called "the land of 10,000 lakes" or something like that?? I'd reckon the fishin would be great that time of year!
  10. Welcome to the BEST bass fishing forum on the Net, IMO!
  11. Congrats on the big 1K!!! Now I'm one post closer myself:o)
  12. $3.46 for 87 octane in San Diego. Bummer! But my bicycle gets GREAT gas mileage:o)
  13. I used to hunt squirrels when I was a kid but I never ate them. My grandparents and great-grandparents ate squirrel and rabbit meat. Can't say I ever would!
  14. I don't suffer the anguish that you do. My Boss and I fish together and if he's going, so am I:o) Even if he isn't going, he knows how much I love to fish. Ahgagagaga!!
  15. Dawn Wells put Tina Louise to shame!! She received more fan mail than any other Gilliganite!! Many dreams were launched when the SS Minnow landed on that Island (a lagoon on the backlot in actuality). Gilligan's Island was and still is a classic, right up there with the best of them. IMO:o)
  16. Pontoon boats make great fishing platforms. They just aren't as fast as real bass boats but they have many other advantages. Heck, you can even bring along a barbeque and grill the fish you catch right on the boat:o) I personally would love one of the mini-pontoons and might just get a used one when I get back to Indiana if the price is right!
  17. People on the lakes I fish here in So CA are pretty courteous which is amazing since they'd probaby run you off the road in their cars/trucks. When I'm on the lake I try to maintain an even keel (no pun intended) and just enjoy myself since I'm out there to have fun and not start any trouble with anyone. Most of the people I encounter are friendly and congenial and aren't invasive of the spot I'm fishing in.
  18. WELCOME, Bass44 to the BEST bass fishing forum on the Net, IMO! IF those bass you are catching would stop KISSING each other, then their lipstick wouldn't smear and be spotty:o) Seriously, though, the other guy's answers are most likely more correct than mine. Ahgagagaga!!
  19. First of all - WELCOME to the BEST bass fishing forum on the Net, IMO! Are you sure you want a jon boat?? I'm expecting delivery of my 10' Nu Canoe early next week. It's a Kayak/Canoe hybrid and only weighs 65 pounds and is supposed to be very stable. They also make a 12' version (85 lbs) but that was a little too big for me since I will primarily be fishing alone in the 10 footer and I wanted something that wouldn't stick too far out of the back of my Ford Explorer Sport. Please read all the posts I have made the last week or so on the Malibu Mini-X kayak that I bought and used last Sunday and why I've opted for the Nu Canoe. I'll be writing a review of the boat as soon as I get it and fish in it. Again: WELCOME to BR!!

Welcome Scott!! My oldest son's name is Scott! I wanted to name him Scotty after the character on Star Trek but my wife insisted I name him James after me and my Dad. So I named him James Scott and we have always called him Scotty nonetheless. BR is the BEST bass fishing forum on the Net, IMO:o)
  21. Dat's a GOOD ONE!! Ahgagagagaga!!
  22. Jeff Dunham and his "alter egos" ROCK!!! Also: I was so elated to see the ventriloquist WIN the "America's Got Talent" TV contest last year!
  23. Chaddy: beware!! That Jessica Alba is a two-timing wench!! She's in a lot of my dreams too!! Ahgagagagaga!!!
  24. If you take along sunblock and don't bother to put it on, SUNBURN!!! Got chewed out again for that last Sunday! Boy was my face red and not from embarassment!!
