I have ZERO self control.
As Arnold Scharzenegger said in a movie called "Pumping Iron" "Milk is for babies!" Just think how much BETTER your milk is gonna taste now. As far as your having ZERO self control..... geez is your's that high?? "The Curse of the Bait Monkey" has put mine into negative numbers!! Ahgagagagaga!! Nice setup you ended up with!! BTW: you never said - DID you get the milk?? That musta been the "BIG Boy's CANDY" isle:o)

Fishing Girl buys boat and now has questions....:o) NEW PICS!!!!
Welcome to BR - the BEST bass fishing forum on the Net, IMO! IF your seat all still function OK, i.e. swivel, fold, etc., then I'd also recommend having them recovered as bassnleo said. No sense spending money on the seat hardward if it's not necessary. The carpeting should be easy enough to replace and there are many great members on BR who can assist you with advice on how to do that or help with suggestions if you run into any problems. AND THANK YOU for serving your community as a Police Officer!!! Police, firemen, paramedics, doctors, teachers, servicemen, and pubilc volunteers that assist/aid other community members just don't get THANKED enough, IMO! Again, a HEARTY WELCOME to BR!!! PS: I'd love to have a Bass Tracker like you do:o) Having your own boat will open up a whole new dimension to your bass fishing efforts. Now you can get out there and access areas where them hawgs are:o)

What do you guys think????
I seriously doubt that the bass care what your boat looks like as you reel them in. As long as your boat is functional, sound, and safe, who cares what it looks like. There are better things to spend Bait Monkey's money on than cosmetics. Just my opinion of course.

Post pics of your tacklebox
Dang Bait Monkey bit me again! Now I have 7 tackle boxes/bags. I just bought an Okeechobee Fats Red tackle bag at Walmart. Much larger than my Plano systems bag but smaller than my Okeechobee Fats green bag. This may be the perfect sized bag for me - finally:o) I'll try to get some pics posted of all my boxes/bags as soon as I have the time. Hittin' Lower Otay tomorrow in my new Nu Canoe. Watch out hawgs!!

WOW!! CHECK THIS OUT!!
I owned a Burmese Python for several years that got to be around 10' in length. When my youngest daughter, who was around 12 at the time, would take Monty out in the front yard and let him drape himself all over her, passerby car traffic would literally screech to a halt so they could watch this little girl play with this huge snake. She would put him down in the grass and all the little kids in the surrounding neighborhood would come over and play with him. He was a good snake that never bit anyone. Oh he hissed at me a few times, but he NEVER struck at or bit anyone. I kept him well fed with 2 rats a week. I made the mistake of once letting him into my Jeep Laredo and he wrapped himself all around the steering wheel and column and I like to never got him out! He also used to be free to crawl around the house until he wrapped himself in the mechanism of a Lazy Boy recliner (underneath) and we had to just wait until he decided to crawl out on his own for fear of injuring him. He HAD SOME HUGE fangs and teeth as well. When he'd strike a food rat those teeth were SCARY!!!

best tackle for this time of the year?
Welcome to BR, Magnum!! It is the BEST bass fishing forum on the Net, IMO:o) I've been fishing Senkos and jigs w/4" tubes real slow so far this year and have had fair success. I'm experimenting with Fat Ikas as per RW's recommendation and I know I'm only one cast away from landing a lunker on one!!! Drop shot rigs with 5" Senkos wacky rigged are producing well here in So CA too. I might try some of that tomorrow. I also want to start throwing top water frogs and Hula Poppers into the tullies early AM. Again, WELCOME to BR!!!

Canadian Geese Trouble..
Bow and arrow - efficient and quiet. Placing preditor decoys/replicas in the area, like the Gator thing Peasey92 mentioned, might work in a more humane way.

My brain must have lagged, what is this
Hey, where did you get that picture of ME in my Blue Heron costume scoping out bass fishin' sites?? Ahgagagaga!

Paypal Accounts Beware!
JimZee: THANKS for the warning!! I've actually seen/gotten some of those phishing emails in the past and just delete them immediately and notify PayPal Security with the info. It's nearly impossible for them to catch the low-life scumbags that do this sort of thing which is a real BUMMER as far as I'm concerned. Are you sure you'd need 5 minutes?? An aluminum baseball bat could probably save you 2 - 3 minutes:o)

Post pics of your tacklebox
Redlinerobert IS a FULL FLEDGED JEDI TACKLE MASTER!!! IMO:o) WOW!! I'm as green as the spinach I eat with ***!

Cheap fishing kayak.
I've never seen a SIK with a trolling motor. That would be interesting to see where you mount the motor and the battery. Are you SURE you want a SIK instead of a SOT kayak?? PS: I just got my Nu Canoe this afternoon and it looks AWESOME!! Tons of room and it appears that it will be easy to stand in while fishing! I hope to use it Wednesday and I'll let you all know what I think. I can already see that it's going to be WAY better than the Malibu Mini-X that I had.

It's Time!
BB: my thoughts are with you and your wife! I pray she has an easy labor and delivers both of you a beautiful addition to your family!!

Is this a duck a goose or....?
That looks like a WOLF in a GOOSE suit trying to get close to those other geese. Ahgagagaga!!!

Post pics of your tacklebox
You want all 6 or just the big Okeechobee Fats that I normally take?? Ahgagagaga!! I, and my wife would not argue the point, think I suffer Dain Bramage. It's all Mr. Bait Monkey's fault! Evil little creature!

What is a Bass Fisherman?
GREAT read!! I Thank the Lord that my Grandfather and Dad got me hooked on fishing all those many years ago! The thrill I get to this day is the same as when I caught my first fish!!

The way Mike Tyson used to live...
Every time I see Don King I wanna BARF. A low-life leech badly in need of a haircut, IMO!

Maiden Voyage
A PVC based rudder system should be easy to fabricate and attach to your new boat. I'll probably make one for my Nu Canoe as well. I'll check the DIY section of the kayak forum and see what I can come up with for the both of us!

What to use now?
Welcome to BR - the premier and BEST bass fishing forum on the Net, IMO! The water temps were in the same range when we went out here in So CA mid February and we were catching bass on jigs with 4" coffee colored tubes and spin tail worms in 12' - 20' of water about 20 feet from the shoreline. We saw lots of fish on structure (i.e. rock formations and mounds) in around 30' - 40' of water. Drop shot rigs with Senkos should produce in those situations. IF you can ascertain the depth of the water you are fishing, I'd recommend drop shot rigs and jigs fished slow. Let us know how you do. Hard to beat those Senkos, Tiki Sticks, and tubes, IMO! Note: per RW's recommendation, I'm also gonna fish those Fat Ikas until I catch me a lunker:o)
-
Optimum Furbit Popper???
Even though I've never used that particular popper, the Natural, Midnight, and Tree Frog variations/colors look like they would produce great in the early and late hours where I normally fish (i.e. the tullies). Those poppers do look pretty darn good, IMO:o)

Why not keep bass for the table?
Ask the same question on the Musky Hunter's Forum and insert Musky instead of Bass and see what happens IF you think our thoughts about C&Ring bass as being something special is special.

Only in my county version 2
They should bring back public FLOGGINGS for A**holes like that! IMO!
-
Bought a motorcycle today guys.
Matt 5.0; I'm surprised he can keep the front wheel on the road. Excuse me, I've gotta BARF!!!! Blluuuuggggghhhhhhhh!

Maiden Voyage
Congratulations on your new boat! Nice to be able to get out there where you need to be to catch them bass hawgs!!

Cheap fishing kayak.
OK, glad to hear that, BUT I still think SOTs are the way to go. The Victory is a nice looking SIK. Let us know when you have your new Yak!
