  1. muddy man: too FUNNY!!!
  2. Yep, them are good eatin' fish. Most folks I know love 'em!
  3. Love fishing for BG on UL spinning outfits. As a kid many eons ago, it was the "cat's whiskers" catching them all day long on our CANE poles with cork bobbers, splitshots, hook, and redworms!!
  4. Ditto to what muddy man recommended! For another option you might also consider one of the older model Okuma Metaloids. They can still be purchased new for great prices on Ebay. Pretty heavy duty and well constructed reels, IMO.
  5. Let's HOPE Mr. BM can be fed some more $$$s. Alas, it looks like the Senate and those sorry jerks who are in it are going to muck the whole initiative up:o(
  6. Top notch lure. Plain to see why so many BR members like Lucky Craft regardless of price. The old "you get what you pay for" is indeed applicable.
  7. Mr. BM: PLEASE don't make me want to start buying MORE stuff! Nice looking bunch of lures.
  8. Yep, you do have the look of a young Sly Stallone:o) NICE FISH too! "Yo, Adriane - this fish talkin' to me??"
  9. NICE 'Eye! Certainly better to have it on your wall than in the freezer:o)
  10. T-rig: sorry about the Musky comment. I didn't notice that you were in Switzerland. Me bad!! Kinda new to this Fantastic Forum. Still: NICE PIKE!! Do you have any other toothy critters over there??
  11. Frogtog: I think Hormel used to sell a small can of corned beef hash that I used to like to eat. Still do, in fact:o) Maybe I'll see if they still sell it at the commissary tomorrow. Not all that healthy, but GOOOD!
  12. BC: cast right, crank right (change hands) Spinning: cast right, crank left
  13. BK: now THAT'S a CATFISH!! How much did that monster weigh?? Where'd ya catch it and what bait?? DANG NICE cat!!
  14. Geez, HUGE fish!! Congratulations! Now all you need to do is hook into a huge Musky so you can wow us again with pics of it!! A ski will definately put up a fight too.
  15. Since I have an "affinity" for Hula Poppers and Jitterbugs I usually insure that I have a nice supply of them in various sizes and colors (but black seems to work in most instances so it is the single color I'd recommend over all others). I also like crankbaits and have quite a few of those as well in all sizes and colors.
  16. Losing a nice/big fish to me is a bummer. Just the fact that I was out there fishing, having fun, and relaxing kinda negates a few of the other choices, IMO:o)
  17. Bear in mind that most people's asking price is NOT usually the final accepted selling price for used boats/cars/planes (almost anything else too). IMO.
  18. Lazy Ike. I've got several and never had a bit of luck with any of them. Daredevils/spoons are another type of lure that I've had no success with either.
  19. Outstanding parable!! Words to live by, IMO:o)
  20. Are you kidding me?? NO ONE can be THAT STUPID, IMO. That has to be a faked/made up for fun picture. ZZZZZZTTTTTTT!!!!
  21. All Pro Fisher is one that I have purchased several quality rods/reels from. I found them on Ebay while searching for rods.
  22. And HEALTHY too!!
  23. I'd say that "legislators" who wrote/write/pass such laws have way too much time on their hands AND are way over paid (in most instances). I particularly liked the CA law/city ordinance about getting fined $500 for detonating a nuclear device within city limits. Unless if was a small tactical nuke, who'd be around to collect the money??)
  24. Ouch! That remeinds me of the episode of "Two and a Half Men" when Charlie was considering getting "snipped". Way FUNNY stuff!! I suppose the ACTUAL experience isn't all that much fun or even funny! Hope you feel OK/better soon!! After the peas thawed out did you go ahead and cook/eat them? (ha, ha).
