Agreed, based on the fact that I think women should have to fish their way in just like all the men do. There should be no differentiation between a male angler or a female, that way the playing field is fair for all who compete. The same goes for AOY, there does not need to be a "male AOY" and "female AOY." Keep it simple, the WBT is not promoting females in bass fishing, it is taking a step back in time.

Good call on your part, I would have done the same for sure. Near where I live a woman was beaten and robbed in her car yesterday after a man walked up to her and asked if she was stuck in the snow...she said no and he belted her and asked for all her money. I don't trust anybody I don't know, especially if my wife or child are with me

I have never done fantasy anything either. I just signed up and assumed that BR would have a group, luckily found it and then found the password on here. I think I was the 5th to sign up. Assuming more than 5 folks sign up, 5th is probably about as high as you will see my name on that group roster! I have a terrible habbit of perpetually rooting for the underdogs!

X2...I rarely use the twitching bar for more than pulling up slack line, but every now and then I will use it when twitching a frog, and was even able to "walk the dog" to some extent...although it required far more concentration using the twitching bar than when done normally! Pretty good reel though, but don't buy it for the twitching bar

I sent an email to the manager of my nearest store (Rossford, OH) and he sent me a message back stating that nothing was set in stone yet(as of last week), and that as soon as they get it all set he will send out the info. He put me on the mailing list, but I have not heard anything since then.

M Star- Glad to hear you made it to the doc and that it was nothing serious. Good luck with the diet, you will certainly feel better when you get your weight down to where you want it to be. A lot can be said about how much better you feel when you do a little exercise every couple of days too!

Me too, it never seems like they accomplish a lot of constructing on the show, but good coverage of the how/why they are doing what they are doing. I will retire at 30 if I win that place!

I fish within 20 feet of other bank fisherman quite often. If you are on water that gets a good bit of bank pressure, then this is probably common. If the other angler is there first I usually ask them if I am getting too close, or if they approach my area, I at least say hello or something to open up the lines of communication, so that way the first thing we say to each other doesn't end up being "back off, dude." It is always a judgement call, but asking if your bothering someone is the most respectful thing you can do. Never hurts to talk to the guy you are fishing next to anyway!

One of my army buddies turned me on to hot sauce on popcorn. It is worth a shot! It is messy, but no messier than melting butter on top!

I just saw that too! 43 and rainy there, -6 here in Ohio! One of the girls in the office said she would hate to live in Alaska so I checked that out...caught me off guard! I just dread that gas bill I'm sure they are waiting to send me!

There is a man who has it figured out! That is almost exactly what the fishing room in my head looks like! Give me a couple years and some time, and that dark corner of my basement will look similar...I hope!
