Environmental Impacts of Fishing-please read and give input!
I would talk to different manufacturers about the findings on their test results. Ask the hard questions like how long does it take their hard plastics to break down in the water or in a bass' belly? What toxins are in Scents? You could probably cover all the topics lightly and maybe 1 in depth. There is now a new mono that biodegrades in 5 years. Others take hundreds of years they claim. Maybe the good part of your research could be the future of bassin and making better choices based on environmental conservation. Manufacturers are doing research to better our fisheries (hopefully), and making products that are environmentally friendly. So we need to support them. Too bad lead is cheaper than tungsten. Keep us posted for more specific ideas as your research progresses.

Leader or no Leader?
no leader needed in heavy cover but if you are casting to rocks or logs with jigs in clear water you may consider it but its not really necessary. try it both ways and see for yourself. I like the uni to uni knot with 15-20 lb floro. The braid won't break if you get it stuck so the floro has to.

First time out lures

Rainy Day Fishing???
I have better luck in the rain too. Spinnerbaits seen to work well for me. I think the bass leave the cover and roam more.

How much potential?
there is a drainage pond in my inlaws assoc in Florida that was stocked by a resident that seems to have too many big bass for its own good. Its about 1.5 acres and 12' deep. He has caught multiple 8lbers and lots of 2lbers. It was stocked 12 years ago. The fish are fat but I don't know what they eat to sustain themselves. He did stock some baitfish. On a good day you can catch 20 bass in an hour. He is the only one that fishes there besides me when I visit once a year. Can bait reproduce fast enough for the fish to survive any longer?

Trout streams warmer in winter?
I don't think this applies to your situation but it is relavant tot the topic. Sometimes rivers are warmer if the dam is releasing water. The surface may be frozen , but the water from underneath is a few degrees warmer.

Hey Mass. Bassers (and any one else who fishes there) (A1 Stump)
Thankfully I am a nonboater in my club. So those who dare will venture in their bass boat.

Do any of you work at a bait/tackle store?
My sisters friend works at Cabelas and I hit her up for a new rod and reel with her discount. It was like 35%. Every item has a different discount.

Lake Winnipesaukee in June
I have a 2003-4 Nav. and fishing map I can send you to borrow if you return it in July. That will give you lots of time to study. PM me if you want it. We used to stay at a waterfront motel in the bay with a dock for my boat. It was so convenient. There is also a Marina in Meredith if you need boat or trailer assistance except on Sun.

Lake Winnipesaukee in June
In Meridith bay there are lots of largemouth. Night fishing there is fun with topwater. You will be there in Spawn or post spawn. There are big buoys that mark the massive rockpiles in deep water like 20-30'. The big smallies are there early and late in the day. In midday the 12" smallies are a dime a dozen there for the family to catch on Senkos. There is a small tackle shop in Meredith that helped me out a ton when I used to vacation there.

Hey Mass. Bassers (and any one else who fishes there) (A1 Stump)
Our CT club is fishing A1 stump pond near Worcester. Whats it like? Patterns, depths, structure, cover, water clarity and what else besides stumps. Also are there any related articles or fishing reports? We are fishing there the end of June but all season advice would be great Thanks in advance

Swim Baits under $20(help)
Well you make great swimbaits and have a lot of support here. Somehow it seems more special to support a small company. In time, the whole world will know of your products. Your site is easy to find and buy your baits. Word of mouth will sell your products as long as fisherman share their secrets. Truly great quality and affordable.

Tokyo Tony and I will do it. That color will work great up here for smallies. After I get a fish, I'll just hand him my rod so theres no need to retie. Summer would be good.

2008: the only catches that REALLY mattered to me.
Thats awesome. My daughter is 2 and so far she can reel if I hold the rod. Can't wait to experience what you're into now. You both are lucky. Thanks, that didn't almost make me cry.
