  1. I like a snell when in using fluoro. Otherwise, a Palomar works fine.
  2. You basically got the best boat around in that size and price. Glad it fits you well. Your gonna have a blast.
  3. I use Bite Me and Venom heads. The Bite Me work well for vertical and dragging. The Venom for casting out. For real deep stuff, the Big Dudes are the head to get.
  4. I'm not sure I even have a 1/8 oz. tube jig. I generally start at 1/2 oz., and work up or down from there.
  5. That's what I do with mine, except I use ST-36 hooks.
  6. W…H…A…T… E…I…E…I…O.
  7. I think some guys just haul water with cranks. I'm really not confident unless mine are bashing into something or getting popped off weeds.
  8. DT6 and DT4 as well as the balsa flat DT baits have a terrible reputation - I broke all of mine, over a couple dozen. I have some 10s and 16s that are as old as the line is that are still kicking.
  9. I'd wear one, but it has to be a Hanes. I only wear brand name t-shirts, lol.
  10. Mud Bug. There is no "new version" that I know of.
  11. I hope all my competition goes out and buys DT6's - you can't weigh in broken lips, lol.
  12. I'd check the distance between the bow crank pillar and the gate. Myself, I lower the gate when the boat is off the trailer. I have no problem seeing it in my mirrors when the boat is on the trailer. Last tip. Use your mirrors once your lined up. See too much boat in one mirror, turn the wheel slightly toward that mirror. Slightly is the key word when backing up a trailer.
  13. You did good. Report back on how you like it - good or bad.
  14. House of 1000 Corpses. /thread.
  15. I'm thinking that's a pic taken when driving through the crowd to get to a new spot.
  16. It'll suit your purposes just fine, but if you want to throw anything heavier, the medium is the way to go. It will throw those lighter baits okay, but also the heavier ones. That said, I prefer the medium light, when I can get away with it. Saint Croux's MLXF blanks are real special fishing tools.
  17. Where are the fish? In the water!
  18. I had a Sea Nymph that was very similar. Lots of find memories made in that boat. Good luck with yours. Congrats!
  19. It might be a three headed two pounder.
