  1. You run that boat in 1" of water, a good fish finder isnt gonna do anything.
  2. I have a buddy with a deer farm, he produced a 2.5 year old buck with 200+" of antler. That deer at 1.5 was 170". You will never see that in nature. I think theres a big misconception when it comes to creating super animals such as big bucks. To get the biggest of all bass we will need to tap into line breeding.
  3. I fed the monkey this morning a tad, I didnt need near what I thought after getting into my boxes. Only other fishing stuff Ill likely order soon is more skirt material. 1 - Little John DD - Nasty Shad 1 - KVD 2.5 - Gizzard Shad 1 - S-Waver 120 - Yellow Perch 1 - Yamamoto 4" Shad Shape Worm - Blk/HG Flk Smoke 1 - Can of Bang - Shad 1 - McCoy Mean Green 8lb 1 - Diawa Sweepfire 2500($20 reel but works great, already own one) 1 - Fenwick HMX Spinning Rod 7' Medium Lt Action Yesterday I ordered 5 packs of Powerteam Swingn Hammers in Perl. Im on their promotional staff, with the $10 off discount(LUNCHMONEY) for the new website I got a wicked deal. But I also sold some unused baits so that was a wash and didnt come out of tax refund.

  5. Im going to hold off on the swimbait rod. I might have a new job coming my way with a massive pay increase. Im going to buy something I need more than want. A stihl ms251, I do habitat work and cut wood. A little more important than another full blown setup. Since I am not buying the swimbait rod I am going to buy myself a new fenwick spinning rod.
  6. Map out the spots you want to look at so you dont waste time during practice. Also, if youre fishing it near the tournament date dont sit there and stick the fish in the holes you intend to fish tournament time.
  7. I think too there will be a fundemental shift in harvesting of game fish in the next ten to twenty years. This younger generation isnt worried about feeding their family, theyre in it to catch big ol pigs. As this generation ages and the eat em up generation dies, you will see bigger bass as an average. It too will happen in the woods as the majority gives up hunting to seek other activities with instant gratification.
  8. Ive noticed when fishing flies that my best action with streamers is winter. These flies are moving in massive movements most times to keep contact with the bait. I actually dont do that well on streamers in the summer.

Most organizations will NOT let you cull dead
  10. If youre really interested, drop me a quick pm in march, I suspect he will be open back up by then.
  11. The shop hasnt been open since fall. When I see its open again Ill stop in and shoot the bull with him and make sure he still has some. Last time I was in he did.
  12. As much as you were all hyped up about the 10xd's on the board I cant believe no one mentioned it. I personally dont throw it but if youre not considering 20ft plus mid summer, forget about it. You can catch em up tight on cranks mid summer but that bite is usually so short lived first thing in the morning that youve gotta be ready to back out shortly after daybreak.
  13. I have a source for those baits still
  14. I fish a ton of wood. If I had my choice I fish the pads all day every day with frogs/mice... I love that bite.
  15. No, its as simple as click here and agree. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/download-ie
  16. Indiana isnt far enough north to exclude all shad. Doubt it has threadfins but it might very well have shad. I know of lakes here in pa that have shad, namely gizzard shad.
  17. This guy made one out of a big cutting board http://www.tinboats.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=30396
  18. Why not reinforce it and lay fiberglass yourself, its not hard at all. Brace it well(aluminum square tubing), glass the underside and paint it, carpet the top and no one will know. Could make your own out of a product like starboard too.
  19. That round will leave nothing for repair, nothing. I would like to see it chambered with a nosler for a muzzleloader.
  20. I tie my jigs with kevlar thread and I also intend to try used braid at some point.
  21. Im in the big ones over here, come get em boys! You never lifted a big one over the side and had some slimeball slide in and get in front of the bank you were working or start fishing the same point? It happens so often here I expect it.
  22. Didnt the original design come from biffle?

I dont know if they do, thats why I asked. We have one at the university that I attended and now work for but I dont have access to it. Ive seen it run and make a bolt with threads and a nut to fit it sitting beside it at the same time. You would need cad experience but you could turn out anything you can think of, I imagine at some point they will make them spray carbon fiber. I think they already have them printing in metal. Structurally they are insane, they honeycomb to make up large gaps giving strength to the final model. I read an article the other day where a guy bought one, printed out another one from it then returned it. Whether thats 100% true I dont know. You would need to know electrical design and how to make it read cad at some point.
  24. FLW will be easier to break into if you intend to go all the way. You have a much better chance to qualify to fish the forest wood cup than you do the classic.
  25. That motor your brother gave you should have a vin on it somewhere, that vin will tell you exactly what motor you have.
