Is matching the forage/hatch species important?
I usually don't recognize what my cafeteria serves me as something I've eaten before, but it looks close enough to food so I eat it anyway. It's the same with bass, if it looks like something that they can eat they'll eat it.

where did the weeds go?
Where did the weeds go? I think you smoked it all. You probably went to a different lake. Even pond weed killers don't work that fast. The only thing I can think is, was it floating scum or was it actually weeds growing up from the bottom. If it was floating scum, that occurs at a pond I occasionally fish and on a windy day, the scum gets blown up on the bank and out of the water.

Memory of bass

Fractured phrases, or malapropisms
My friend turned in a paper for a science class last year about the history of astronomy where he wrote "The astronomers were castrated due to the small size of their telescopes." The teacher read it aloud to the class and after everybody was done cracking up, my friend told him that he thought that "castrated" was a synonym for "constricted." Now whenever he's talking to a chick I tell her to move on to another guy because "his telescope is so small they had to castrate him" ;D

Favorite Dropshot Plastics?
What are your favorite plastics for dropshotting? I need to stock up on my dropshotting supplies for a tournament next week so I'm going to be placing TW order in the next couple of days. Any suggestions? The roboworm alive shads look pretty good and so do the jackall crosstails.

Can't believe I'm saying this but...
Yeah it does sorta remind me of one of those fish that live 10 miles under water and have little lights to attract prey, the kinda stuff that you see on a discovery channel LOL. Still though, I don't think it looks terrible and it would probably work.

Can't believe I'm saying this but...
Bass Pro's new Z9R swimbait looks pretty good. I'm never much of a BPS lure fan but I gotta admit this thing doesn't look to bad. Definitely not the best out there but for the price it doesn't look to shabby. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_10202507_100018000_100000000_100018000_100-18-0

P-Line Floroclear
Before I made the switch to 100% fluoro I used P-Line fluorclear a lot. I always used it as my main line so yes you can spool your entire baitcaster with it. I know some guys on this forum had issues with fluoroclear but I never had any problems with mine.

Lucky Craft Redemption Spinnerbaits
That's what I'm thinking LOL. I think the problem is that people don't want to pay $14 for a spinnerbait because they get worn out and broken after extended use. Hardbaits, on the other hand, last much longer which is probably why people don't have issues paying higher prices for them.

The monkey made me do it, (thats my story and im stickn' to it..)
Good choices... I like your style. Those Mattlure hardgills look sick!!!

crankbait hooks
Well, the lucky craft hook that went the entire way through my big toe seemed pretty sharp to me ;D But yeah, like everything else on a lucky craft or megabass bait, they are the highest quality. The hooks are very sharp right out of the package, they definitely don't need replacing until the get dull, and like FBL said, that takes a while.

Those so solid bass! Nice work

Lucky Craft Redemption Spinnerbaits
So I haven't heard anything about these in a while. There was a thread a while back about them but at that point nobody had tried any yet and most of the discussion revolved around whether or not people were willing to spend $14 on a spinnerbait. So now that they've been released a while, has anybody actually gotten around to trying them? How did they perform?

right fluro for flippin/pitchin

Line for a Baitcaster
Go with the P-Line, you won't be disappointed. Stren in any form sucks. Sorry to rip on your brand, obviously based on your username your a fan of stren but their lines are junk IMO. The only stren line that's not completely terrible is their braid, and even then there are much better braids out there.
