  1. I always either lose that monster bass in my local pond ( I know she is out there ) b/c of 2 main reasons she has done before is jumped out of the water and flipped and broke my line > happened only once but still did happen or she goes into high dense cover with broken down trees(havent seen pond too much this year & if the trees got cleared) :-? weeds and such so thinking of buying a bit bigger heavier rod only had a 6'6" med power rod last time was woundering what you guys recomoned baitcasting I believe is the only way to tackle such a problem and saw the new BPS nitro rod and reel combo http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10151&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&partNumber=97965&cmCat=WISHLIST what do you guys think about that combo or what rod and reel would be best suited for the job? thanks bassmaster

  14. Nice healthy lookin fish congrads out of Curiosity what kind of custom rod is that or what does Jb stand for
  15. Nice pike all the fish over their seem really healthy seems like an awsome place to live with all that fishing close by ;D
  16. if you are going to fish for northern pike it should be fine using braid b/c once northern do have teeth for clarafitcion you will have a 1' leader or so and would not need to hurry also with fishin pike they put up a good fight and you would want a lot of line and have strong # test so once braid is smaller and takes up less room you can put on more line also I would use a nylon leader around 12" or so Good luck and have fun up in canada ;D
  17. Jigs can be fished in any time of the year or water condtions and for many different times of fish and is very versital baits aslo many different approches and could be very specific or general purposes ;D

  22. I have a question on the Shimano Cudaro baitcasting reel. Does it have magentic brakes or do you have to un screw it and take it apart to change the braking? thanks I have only had baitcasters with magentic braking and would not want the hassel of taking apart the reel in the middle of a lake in a boat and watch everyone except me catching fish :-/
  23. I agree 100percent with you jobs that tip might pay less but you get so much more money. and sometimes work less and get more than some people makeing $8.50 an hour while we make only $5.50 an hour ;D great for summer jobs
