  1. Welcome.....we needed another member in Virginia! I'm in Roanoke,if you get down this way, lets hit the lake!
  2. Yeah,my buddy has an "in town" route plus the outskirts so he gets the best of both worlds. This is his 2nd Christmas driving and he's not complaining near as much this year as he was last year. ;D He started driving on his own in Nov. '05,just in time for Christmas.
  3. Way to go Russ......does your hub assign drivers helpers at Christmas time? There are some routes here that warrant a helper in December.....my buddy has one of those routes.(He's a newbie to the driving side of UPS)
  4. I use Mag Warts in the summertime,at night, especially when the fish are up on the points. They are real easy for the fish to locate.
  5. Alot of people knock Pinnacle gear but I'd estimate that 75% of them are going on hear-say and havent actually owned any Pinnacle rods or reels.I cant speak for the rods but I do own some of the Pinnacle Matrix reels, they work great and I have yet to have any problems from them after 3+ years of use and abuse.
  6. You got that right.....
  7. You could either buy some split ring pliers or do it the old fashioned way with your fingernail.....once you do it with your fingernail about 20 times in a row,it does get easier.Practice,practice,practice.
  8. The new Revo's are awesome. They are smaller than most other low profile reels and are smooth as silk. Not sure about hauling them around in the back of a pickup truck though. They're much too purty for that.
  9. I love catching blues.....they give my drag a good workout!
  10. Owner is my first choice.....Gamakatsu is my second.
  11. The moral of this story: You can't hide money! ;D
  12. Jig Jerkbait Suspending crankbait
  13. 10ft is starting to scratch the surface though. But I like scraping the bottom.....
  14. If I'm throwing the deep diving cranks (DD22's,DT's,Mann's 20+,LC-CBD20) I use my 7'6" fiberglass crankin rod,no questions asked. For everything else its graphite.
  15. Deep? Come on Clunn.....I need some 16-18 footers!
  16. Looks like its 50-50 so far, straights took off fast, then the WG's caught up in the second turn.
  17. Very cool indeed.....welcome to the forum Doug,we're all looking forward to some big bass knowledge. Bring it on! We're glad to have you.
  18. Anybody else get better hookups with the straight shank rather than the wide gap?I have been fishing the wide gaps pretty much exclusively for the previous 2 seasons but this past year,mid-way through,I swithced back to the straight shanks, which I've used all my life and my hooking ratio went up immediately. I still use wide gaps on flukes and spider jigs(hula grubs) but with worms and other thin plastics, the straight shank in my opinion is better.
  19. Thats a good 'un flech.....nice job!
  20. I go by weight first, then blades, then skirt color.....heads are not a real issue in my boat,99% of all the spinnerbaits I own are minnow heads. And if I need a different combination of blades and skirt,I'll change one or the other.....takes just a few seconds to get it right.
  21. Muddy-Man Rw is the High Sheriff and I am first Deputy of the SHAMINO CREW SHAMINO ? Is that a new company ? ;D
  22. That is what I was doing. Telling it like it is. Bud You're just telling how it is in Bud's world.
  23. Another way to be considered pro is to have over 1/2 of your yearly wages be from tournament winnings.

It most likely is a scam in my opinion but you should call his bluff. If he wants to give you 5 grand for it,make him send the money via Int'l money order, cash it,then ship the PS3 to him.Do not ship anything until you have free and clear, green cash money in your hands. You can cancel your auction no problem.....just have to cancel all bids first.
