  2. "Random photo of the day" opportunity flushed away.......... This is true, but I aint mad at him ;D

  4. Berkley Power Bait Shakey Worm or Strike King 3X finesse worm. Thats the only two I throw anymore.
  5. There may be a few guys catching late spawners but the majority of the guys are catching them on traps and cranks. I watched the bass cast thing on ESPN Outdoors for a while yesterday and Martens and McClelland both were throwing lipless baits as far as they could throw 'em. Then Ike said in an interview that he was fishing spots where the fish were stacking up before heading deep for summer.
  6. That bluegill pattern is sick...just sick. If anyone else wants a bluegill, I'd shoot him a message on ebay...he probably has more. Message already sent....
  7. Dangit man! $70 bucks just vanished from my wallet!! By the way, all the bluegill patterns are now gone
  8. I dont know if any of you are following the Guntersville Elite this weekend but the guys are absolutely wearin' em out! Going into the final day Aaron Martens is leading with 87+ and everyone in the top 12 has a chance to break the 100# mark. There's been plenty of 27, 28 and 29# bags and some 30# bags have gone across the stage as well. Some of the guys are reporting catching as many as 140 fish per day. KVD ended up 20th.
  9. VCI strips are the coated cardboard pieces that you put in your tackle boxes. I havent bought any in a while and I couldnt find them on ebay (where I got them last time) but I did find these http://www.theruststore.com/Bull-Frog-Rust-Blocker-Strips-P23C12.aspx?UserID=4267332&SessionID=ISLywMDmSIKzTajCjIIg Pretty much the same thing.
  10. This may work but in my opinion, its way too much of a hassle to 'perform surgery' just to get a worm on a peg. The 3X worms are difficult to deal with but the floating qualities makes them very unique. jfriend, put it on a regular ball head or try some of the Gamakatsu Skip Gap shaky heads. I really like the Skip Gap heads.

  12. Good work Russ! Glad to see you with a baitcaster in hand.....
  13. Cool man! Great job!!
  14. Not a junkie. I will however, find a lure that produces well and buy a dozen or so of them in different colors. This happens right often. I will also jump on a deal if I spot one. I just cant resist a good deal whether I actually need it or not. This happens all the time.
  15. The H2O baits are turning out to be the best deal going in crankbaits. The deep diver (CRD) looks a lot like the LC CBD-20 but it is bigger by a little bit and has a slightly wider wobble. I still switch out all the hooks but thats just a personal preference/confidence thing because the stock hooks seem plenty sharp. The paint seems to hold up fairly well on these baits also. I did buy some CRM's that I couldnt get tuned to save my life but all the others I've bought have needed very minimal, if any tuning to get a true run.
  16. I watched it last night too. Probably wasn't the best choice of movies considering I have staples and stitches at the moment. Funny stuff....definitely worth the $5 bucks.
  17. He did try the pm thing, I just missed it until it was too late. (I had surgery Tuesday, been out most of the week) Sorry Redskin, hope you had a good trip.
  18. I agree. Shame on you Wayne....pulling the wool over her eyes like that! Nice play.
  19. She's on her way....some things needed to be said before she got here.
  20. Look man, we wish you all the best in your college fishing career and you'd have your own cheering section here if you played your cards right. Once you start to fish against higher competition, as in FLW or BASS, you may find that you need to come on here and get some advice once in a while. Just ask senko77, he's probably still younger than you and he's won an AOY Title in a tough BFL Division. Thats not real easy to do. He's a great fisherman but he gets a lot of his info on these forums....ask him, he'll tell you. We have all watched him grow up right on this website and I'd be willing to bet he WILL GO PRO one day. He has the drive, the humility, the knowledge and is getting better everyday.
  21. I guess he does but how do we know that what he's saying is the truth? I would think with that many wins and only being 19, we would have probably heard his name going around the internet by now? No?
  22. Would your 'sponsors' approve of this behavior? People are trying their best to "show you the way" and you want to get into a ticking match about credentials? Are you for real?
  23. Nobody is knocking you. I think most are confused and to be honest, I'm just as confused as they are. It seems like you've created one thread that covers this whole website. Are the members supposed to post all future questions in this thread and this thread only, no matter what? Thats what it sounds like. If thats the case, we'll only have this one thread. Thats no fun. If you want to 'prove' to potential sponsors that you are trying to help other anglers, read through all the threads that are already going and if you have something to add to them, do it. Then point the potential sponsors to your profile where they can read every post you've ever made.
  24. I've got a 27 Trophy on my Gambler and it wont even push the boat the last 12" up on the trailer. > I'd agree with the masses that it's a prop thing.
