  8. I know the best way to use a sabiki rig. Go offshore and use it to catch some hardtails to be used for bait on snapper and grouper. 8-9lbers all day ;D I must have missed something in the tournament and outing section

  11. I have fished from Cooter's pond to wetumpka numerous times this year. This is what we have had success with: Topwater- spooks have been working great Worms- Mag II, Ol monsters, lizards, and senko style worms in watermelon (T-rig & shakey) Cranks- 8-12' cranks in shad colors

  15. We have been getting a fair amount of showers in the afternoon and I have gone before, after, and during the rain. I have been catching a lot less fish than I normally do. Maybe it is the heat.

  20. Sounds like they might be able to help. I hope you get your gear back and I am glad to hear that you guys are safe. I fell out of the boat this summer and once I got back in the boat and laughed it off I realized how much different things could have been if I was by myself and it was in the middle of winter. Before I buy any more gear, I am going to buy a nice PFD that can be worn at all times that is not a hassle to wear.
  21. Thank you RW and BB. Keeping the tip in the water, which I learned from the this forum, has helped me to keep many fish from getting off. Especially ladyfish when I fish inshore. Those things jump like crazy.
