I forgot to mention this in my sale post and new products but I've also built and added something like your asking. Basically its my top ten already to roll Dredge jigs in all 3 styles. I'll be doing this for all the versions eventually. The pictures are bigger and also easy to see the details because of the zoom feature. I would have a hard time picking 3. If I was to pick 3 I'd have to say black/blue, Bama, and then the #3 is a difficult one. Blue craw, pbj, or junebug all 3 rank right there about the same and closely followed by a couple others.

I have some that have Mustads in them. They tend to be a hair lighter then the Owner xxx, but not an actual light wire hook. I haven't added these to the website yet. With the mold I dont think a light wire would work due to how thin the hook. It would fill the eye hole with lead.

Hey Welds, For the thick grass I would go with a punch jig or punch rig. If the grass is real thick the Brush wouldn't be the best bet. Light weeds it will work fine but if they are thick you may have weed problems. The punch jig swims great as a swim jig also.

Exactly. I think years ago Catt and I talked about this before in a topic. Night fishing will teach you how to feel and fish a lure especially jigs. Eliminating your sight makes you hone in on feel and concentration.

Does it have to match? No, and sometimes a non matching trailer out performs. With that said, generally I do match them.

I'm planning on offering the skirted swing jig in all the jig colors I have and the non skirted in all the head colors I have. Thats the plan as of right now.

Theoretically yes. The faster the twist the heavier the bullet. Most varmint 223 rem's are around 1-12 for lighter bullets then your 1-7 are for heavier bullets. Like anything else you need to try it but if it was me I'd start with the 62's. 55's tend to be easier around here to find and sometimes cheaper.

Its a 2001 ficht. Its not the first line ive had break. I had a merc that did it also. It cracked right at the connection.

Most 5.56 guns tend to shoot better with 62 grain bullets.
