  1. Those subwalk baits are just awful. They have been know to cause herpatoesis in California. I have been (self) designated as the National Subwalk disposal center. Please send any units directly to me Thank you in advance. 🤪 A-Jay
  2. LOL~ I often feel there could be some of that floating around here every time I post up one of these. A-Jay

You Can't Handle the Truth ( Modified) Son we live in a world that has Bass, and those Bass must be fished for. Who's gonna do it? You, LT Panfish ? I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for the death of the zebra mussel, and you curse the Bassmaster. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know -- that being covered in Megastrike, though tragic, catches bass; and my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you Trout Bums, catches bass. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about at the Fly Shop, you want me in that Pro-V Bass -- you need me in that Pro-V Bass ! We use words like Points, Cuts and Flats - We use these words as a backbone of a life spent Catching Bass. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who hides behind the boat ramp and ridicules me for flipping the slop. I would rather that you just said "Thank You" and went on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you spool up some braid, load up a long rod and put a frog in the pads. Either way, I don't give a d**n what you think you're entitled to ! Did you order the Red Eye Shad ? Did you order the Red Eye Shad ? You bet you're Arse I did ! I was doing my job and I'd do it again ! I'm going back to my Lund ! All in fun of course A-Jay

I use Megastrike original and have been for a long time. On everything. Certain every fish posted on this forum ate something that was most if not completely slathered up in Megastrike. btw - when it's hot out, store it in the cooler. You can thank me later. 11. The SW is a Megabass Salt Water application designation. Sure it works in Sweet water too. The Megabass Vision OneTen SW is a narrow profiled, 110.5mm, 14.1gram (1/2oz) jerk bait minnow fishing lure that will dive no more than 1 meter with its short square bib. The lure comes equipped with a dual tungsten moving balancer system that truly gives this lure excellent casting distance. What makes the OneTen SW particularly deadly is it’s darting action and ability to come to a stand still as it slowly floats to the surface, which more often than not, is the moment when a strike arises. The base of this jerk bait is angulated with hard chines, which causes the lure to roll sharply from side to side to accentuate reflective flicker off the flanks of the lure. The Vision OneTen SW is devoid of internal rattlers making this jerk bait an attractive option when fishing in high pressured areas where target fish are easily spooked by noise and commotion. The lure comes with three permasteel saltwater #6 treble hooks. The front and rear trebles have inward facing barbs whilst the middle treble is outward facing. For its size and weight, the Vision OneTen SW is ideally suited for shore base fishing and around piers and over reef flats. A-Jay
  12. The happiness with this rig continues as I slowly become more and more acquainted with it's 'features.' This 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 has a few updates and changes for the new model year. One of these is the addition of an Active Exhaust system equipped with the naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 L87 gasoline engine; rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. This new feature will allow drivers to select a driving mode that opens the flaps within the exhaust system, thereby delivering a throatier exhaust note from their L87 engine. While the truck is in Normal mode, or Tow/Haul mode, the exhaust flaps will remain closed, resulting in a muted exhaust tone. However, upon selection of the Sport mode, the flaps will open, allowing the L87 Small Block to produce a throatier exhaust aka the V8 rumble. Pretty Cool. Still haven't been able to wash the darn thing yet - and it's really bad. A-Jay
  13. Good Timing Dave ~ I'm selling a sweet skipp'in stick in the Flea Market right now. A-Jay
  14. Nice ~ Hope you're able to offer an update on how you like that Daiwa DX Type-H Glass stick. If it turns out not to be your cup of tea, let me know, I might be able to relieve you of said stick. Good Luck A-Jay
  15. Wow ! Congrats btw, does the new career involve a brass pole in any way ? A-Jay
  16. Mine too ~ Especially in the fall. A-Jay
  17. It's a tire anti-roundness device ~ Otherwise known as a deflator. A-Jay
  18. A-Jay Someone did it to a friend of mine for parking in a mostly residential area while we fished all night. Got all 4 truck tires - Giant PIA - before cell phones. We had to walk a Looooooooong way to get to a - wait for it . . . PAYPHONE ! Didn't park there again though. 🤪 A-Jay

  21. Wore them as a DI for 8 years. Miles of marching and close order drill daily they helped slow heel wear. Pretty sure there was a little bit of a psychological factor as well. A-Jay
  22. Just to be clear and to add some context as well as supplemental info here, on a day to day basis the Go Pro works GREAT. Super easy, point & shoot, stabilization is crazy good and I have over come shorter battery life with external battery packs (Juicepacks) But here in lies the problem. Besides running the cameras for 4-6hours straight, I have a couple of accessories (mods - Special lens & microphone - all GoPro branded accessories) mounted on the cameras that also contribute to the overheating deal. Which only happens locally on the hottest days but is a real problem in Mexico, where it might matter most. Otherwise, my fishing & workouts, the dogs adventures, trail and runs across the lake are all shot without incident. So they do mostly 'work' just not so good in the heat of the hottest days for long shoots. However, the pictures alone can be worth the price of admission. A-Jay
  23. Hello Josh and Welcome to Bass Resource ~ A-Jay
  24. In preparation of said potential CIR seaon, I highly enourage any and all enterprising and perhaps trophy brown bass hunters, to do some extensive prefishing now. So once the season opens and there's open water, you'll not need to waste valuable fishing time "looking" for potential early season fish holding areas. Because IME, they might not be where you would expect. Most of the super early season Menderchuck Magic happens shallow, near wood, on emergent weed growth and dark botton areas. Might look different in the fall than in the spring, but the secret sauce is Less is more and look for 40 - 45 degree water. You can thank me later. Oh btw. Don't get your arm broke. A-Jay
