Thanks, As this recovery has continued, I am leaning towards an mcl or lcl strain with no hamstring involvement at all. So it's knee stability that's been effected. Either way still taking it very slow. A-Jay

Thanks, and I hear ya. I often go back and watch some of the older clips as motivation for the next workout. Sometimes it helps, other times it's sort of a depressing reminder that aging is relentless. However, while it surely slows my roll, I choose not to let that stop me. A-Jay

I'm working with a 'multi-functional' type tackle room deal. Besides spooling line, I'll clean & service tackle, change hooks & hardware, might even enjoy an adult beverage in the process. Much busier space during hard water than open water. A-Jay

Have the reel serviced by a skilled professional. Continuously adding any lubricant adds up over time and can become a problem by itself. Especially with bearings. Never got one back from @Delaware Valley Tackle that wasn't like new. A-Jay
