  1. IME ~ sort of. Seems over time, and I'd say that's over several months if the top is on snuggly, the consistency gets 'thicker'. Which in the end, renders it mostly useless. Fresh stuff is killer though. A-Jay
  2. Not sure if this is what you're looking for but I use one OVER all the wires (including 360). It's neoprene and closes with Velcro. You would not have to unplug anything, just wrap it. There's other brands, I used T-H Marine G-Force Troll Jacket. Didn't feel like advertising for them so I turned it inside out. Been 3 or 4 years now, and it's worked fine but had faded a bit. It's in the background of this pic. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/T-H_Marine_G-Force_Troll_Jacket/descpage-THMTJ.html A-Jay
  3. Eradicating the Varmint Kong one lawn wrecker at a time ~ #twofortwo A-Jay
  4. Works great on Any soft plastic baits. Does not dry hard like many of the 'super glues'. Sets up in a few minutes. This is not something I use 'on the water'. Does not work on silicone based baits Pretty sure it's a no go for anything like the Z-Man Elaztech baits Used it a ton south of the border to 'repair' tattered Storm Wild Eye shads. When that was the deal, each night our room turned into a Mend-it repair facility. We'd let them sit overnight and fish them in the morning. 5. OK but you have to shave him to the skin first ~ A-Jay
  6. I'm betting they think the same thing about us, especially while they are hanging off a thumb. A-Jay
  7. Nicely Done & Good Luck Should be nice weather down that way. A-Jay
  8. Megabass Vision 110 Silent in a perch pattern. Funny right ? A-Jay

  10. The war is never ending with these guys and this fat mole has been harassing's us going on two years now. He's proven to be a very worth adversary. But today, that has officially come to an end. Pretty sure this is his good side. Time to celebrate. A-Jay
  11. MEET, fall in LOVE & ADOPT this gorgeous and sweet dog. Sasha the Husky is downright amazing. She is 6 years old, spayed, fully vetted, microchipped, and on year round flea / tick / heartworm preventive. She's fairly petite at just under 50lbs. Sasha walks like a dream on leash, is 100% house-trained as well as kennel trained. She loves all snow activities (of course), loves to run while you run or bike, run zoomies around your fenced in yard, go to the lake and paddleboard with you . . . What Sasha REALLY loves most of all is people. She is ultra friendly, not a jumper, plays nicely with all ages (with those that play respectfully) and at the end of, shoot ~ ANY time of the day, she wants to be by your side, at your feet or in your lap for a cuddle. In short, if you are looking for a fun, healthy, sweet, quiet, cuddly dog that you don't have to fret about training ~ Sasha is the PERFECT dog for you. Sasha should not be trusted with cats & would do best with a similar sized male companion, or as an only dog. You can Post a comment on youtube, here on facebook or send me a FB private message if you're interested. Backstory ~ Her family fell on traumatic times and are not able to keep Sasha, despite their intense heartache. We offered to foster her & find her that perfect forever home. The video sharing is a big part of this. A-jay
  12. I know the feeling ~ and admittedly I'm not a big a fan. But pre-spawn only last so long, so at some point I just bundle up like I'm going Ice fishing and take one for the team. I do hate having to wear gloves, so the old sausage fingers usually go numb right off the bat. Fish Hard A-Jay
  13. The ramp attendants up here are usually very lenient and come in various shapes & sizes. Most eat & run. Rabbits, deer, turkey, skunk, possum, geese, swans and the odd snake or two. Not a very dependable work force if you ask me. A-Jay
  14. Now that you mention it, no. In fact it may well be the complete opposite for me. But it works. A-Jay
  15. I hear ya, but we never judge. We have no say as to how it all goes down, until they are here. Then we have all the power. Usually works out for the better. A-Jay
  16. Thank you very much for the support. And while it has it's challenges, we are sort of set up for this deal. And in a big man way. Of course it was totally by design. A-Jay
  17. I'm going with they are equal ~ One positions them in a certain area and so does the other. Duration in & around an area could be more or less depending on the situation. And that would include tidal deals, which are often over looked. A-Jay
  18. Second go around for us with this pup, and none of it was her doing. We first took in this purebred Siberian husky 3 years ago when her original owner became very ill. After 10 days or so, she was rehomed to a very nice couple down state. Unfortunately, their personal life took a hard left turn and they could no longer provide for Sasha. We Always ask folks that if for any reason they can't keep a dog they get from us, please consider calling us first, before dropping them off to a shelter. We can't always take them in but if we can , we will. This is one of those. Warm weather makes it much more doable. Sasha is 6 years old now (birthday Valentine's Day 2017), in good health, spayed, fully vetted, house & kennel trained, walks well on leash, rides the paddleboard, knows how to bike-jore, likes to camp & really, REALLY loves humans. She even served as the "dog of honor" in a wedding ceremony. We simply need to set her up with her next adventure.. She goes to the groomer on Thursday for a 'spring cleaning'. Sasha's a little sweet heart and will make someone a great companion. More to follow. 19. Top-Water ~ ! While not my most productive technique, it is Easily my favorite way to get bites. A-Jay
  20. Two things for me. One ~ the hard water season and waiting for open water always tests my metal. And two ~ how much it changes season to season. A-Jay
  21. In years past I have been guilty of 'switching it up" constantly during a good bite. Thinking was, "if they'll eat this, maybe they'll eat this. And if they eat that, maybe they'll eat that". In the end, I think it caused me to miss out on fish I may have otherwise got strikes from if I had stayed with the original presentation to begin with. My present modus operandi is to 'tweak' something Slightly. Rate of Fall, Color, size, profile, sound or cadence. But still keeping with the basic premise, whatever that may be. In my mind, there's a reason the first deal is working, I can only jack it up from there. And sometimes I do. A-Jay
  22. Now that's a hammer of a trip ~ Nicely Done ! IMO you deserve & earned each and every one of those beautiful Bass. A 42 lb plus bag is a jaw dropper anywhere, Especially when it's anchored by a Big Ol' DD bass. Congrats. A-Jay
  23. So I wear my underwear on the outside then . . . ? A-Jay
  24. The bodies of water I fish that have the most diverse game species population, usually offer the best Smallmouth Bass fishing; especially for size of fish. Pike alone is not a real good indicator. However add in Brown & rainbow trout, walleye, yellow perch, full grown musky, as well as schools of big carp, these are the places that I frequent the most. And you might be able to guess why. The Trout & Musky I catch are always by-catch as I rarely target them. ("Hope it's a bass", then it's not) But if the bass bite is off and the walleye are chewing, I will totally cull through a limit of cutters. #goodeating A-Jay A-Jay
  25. First off I hate sun screen - all of it. Just really dislike slathering that goop on to myself at any point. However, I do use it religiously, but only on my face neck & Ears. While the rest of me is cover up with sun protective clothing. Sometimes my Buff doesn't always stay all the way up on my face, so the sunscreen helps there. Tried a few different ones. Some really burn the old eyeball badly when I sweat. Have settled on this one. Works well north & south of the border. Goes on in the morning before I leave the house while I'm getting dressed. https://www.neutrogena.com/products/sun/clear-face-break-out-free-liquid-lotion-sunscreen-broad-spectrum-spf-30/6811087.html?cgid=sunscreen-for-face&tilePosition=8 ?
