If You Could Go Back
Interesting topic @Mobasser ~ Had to make myself 'think' about this one a bit. I'm not a bit 'regret' type of man. Decided some time ago that it didn't help me moving forward and could be the source of a lot of wasted time (If I let it) While I've had my share of total crash & burns in my fishing I try to look back at those times in a positive rather than negative way knowing that's what made me who I am today. And "What a Long Strange Trip It's Been." Finally, something I could never regret and am actually immensely grateful for, Is this forum. #14years A-Jay

"Best" is a relative term in my eyes. But I'm better at this than say, pulling Taffy. A-Jay

Poll: Best Chatterbait Rod
While I can certainly respect your keen eye for quality blanks, when I was 'shopping' for the right stick, I was not doing it at that type of price point. I eventually landed on a Quantum KVD composite crankbait rod. No longer in production by Quantum but Lews makes what is essentially the same stick. Been there ever since. This stick has accounted for more trophy brown bass for me than perhaps all my other sticks combined . . . The bass don't know what it costs. Working to Stay Lean ~
Completed a 'light' version of Total Body 3 this morning. Two working sets of what amounted to just a bit over warm up weight. ** Point of interest ** After over 10 straight weeks of training, it's time for a de-load. So I will be taking a break, not in the gym, for a week or so. Plan to be back at it 1st week of Sept. #borninfiftynine A-Jay

Eating healthy..
Speaking The Truth ~ I often hesitate to add the above as it seems so many folks just don't want to hear it or believe it. My wife has some very serious gastrointestinal issues for which she is 'treated' by a couple of specialist. Several years ago, during an appointment, one of them was offering his 'advice' on a helpful diet. He mentioned that "IF THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS WHITE SUGAR & WHITE FLOUR, I WOULDN'T HAVE A JOB" ! Changed my life right there. Been better ever since. A-Jay

Eating healthy..
IME, our life style is a reflection of our appearance. That includes, body mass index (BMI). The attached video is 20 minutes or so and contains 10 aspect of 'fat loss'. It has been my experience, that each one is an important part of what for so many, is a big Puzzle. Collectively, THIS is how I effectively manage a healthy diet for myself. If you are serious about the above, I would encourage you to commit to the lifestyle required. Perhaps watch & digest this video in pieces. It's not magic but it all matters. Good Luck. A-Jay

Interesting stretch test
How about we exchange the Mono with FC . . . . Just for the 4 out of 5 bassheads who recommend FC to the bassheads who use mono. Wait, what now ?? A-Jay

Working to Stay Lean ~
Nice ~ My days of running that style program are a bit behind me. No doubt super effective just a little too much injury risk for this OG at this point. And the warm up is Everything for me. I need to have a decent lather going in order to feel 'ready'. Heading into the Home Gym right now. Keep grinding my friend. A-Jay

Working to Stay Lean ~
Besides doing the hanging and pulling work you've seen here, no. I used to do some traditional stretching but stopped because it never really proved beneficial. I wasn’t any better doing it than not. However before every workout, I do perform a complete warm up. Seems to serve me well. A-Jay

Working to Stay Lean ~
Total Body 2 this morning. There's always a certain amount of this in every training session, however this morning we were at about 7.9 on the grueling scale. Additionally, made an improvement on my weighted pull ups. #borninfiftynine A-Jay

Adopted a shelter pet
You're welcome. Depending on the environment (loud or not) the hand gestures can play a big role. Understanding that the dogs don't exactly understand everything I say, the hand gestures convey the message loud & clear every time. As time went on I figured out that the pups are usually keying in on what I do and how I do it, far more then what I 'say". A-Jay

Adopted a shelter pet
Sounds like Iggy's a quick learner ~ The two most valuable deals we ever teach any of our pups is "Wait" and "Leave It". Wait includes a 'sit' and happens several times a day in many different instances; at every door (we go through first), before we cross any road or street and just about anytime we need the dog to stop what he/she is doing and take a breath. Invaluable, IMO. Leave It can be a life saver. Keeps the pups from picking up and eating bad stuff, gets them to stop chasing the local animals,(Deer, snakes, toads, porcupines, skunks) you get the idea. Instant compliance is ALWAYS rewarded with treats (we just use their food) and we have it with us at ALL times; especially during the 'training stages'. Having pups that are willing to please makes this pretty easy, but high prey drive dogs can go 'red' pretty quick so it usually takes more time and a determined training philosophy. The successful results are fun & gratifying. This is a clip of "RD" a 10 month old red Malamute that we fostered. He was deemed "Viscous & destructive" and "Unadoptable" - not what I found. After 10 weeks with us and we placed him in a great home. A-Jay

How Much Would You Spend on Used Baits?
As a somewhat frequent bait seller here in the BR Flea Market, it has been my experience that prices can vary wildly from bait to bait or lot to lot. Not a bad thing, just that baits can be 'worth' more or less to each basshead. Seems that goes for tackle as well (rods & reels). Pre-fished baits in 'good condition' usually sell quickly with prices set @30% of the MSRP. Prices over @50% or more often take longer. This is a Flea Market after all. If I really want to move items, a price that reflect that is helpful. Vintage or collector baits are a separate deal altogether. The equalizer is the 'shipping'. Both Buyers & Sellers often factor that into the overall price per bait or lot. Really comes into play shipping rod tubes - ouch. I use USPS Flat rate Priority for bait lots, it's just easier for me. Make the labels at home - Click & Ship. btw - PayPal Rules. Good Luck A-Jay
