  2. Perhaps cut yourself some slack my friend, I actually expected to read that you had bought a new truck that your rod would fit into. And I suppose I would have been OK with that too. A-Jay

  9. OK, I'll admit it. I am feeling mostly spoiled after the first two stages. So many plus sized green bass. Sort of knew it wasn't going to last. Too bad though. A-Jay

  15. Perhaps a picture or two of your rig and your stowage plan; how and where the gear is stowed. Could be helpful Also I found this thread of yours. I read this one too. Questions: Does this rig have a power trim/tilt ? If it does, is it operating properly and perhaps more importantly, do you use it ? A-Jay
  16. So today is first day of meteorological spring (whatever that means), there's some sun here and the temperatures are expected to sneak into the upper 20s to mid 30s. The next chance for light widespread snow will be Wednesday as a weak clipper system sweeps through northern Michigan, but I'm pretty much ignoring that part. This is also the same month that the ice went out last year. Might need some Africa Hot stuff to roll through before that happens in 2022, but either way . . . . . . 5 weeks and a wake Up ! A-Jay

Been a Red Sox Fan my whole life. And it was pretty hard to do early on, and you probably know why. Either way, it just not Summer without baseball. I had to stop being concerned about 'the business' of the game a long time ago. I just want to watch the games. Hope they can figure it all out. A-Jay
  18. What in tarnation ? A-Jay
  19. Maybe ~ But are we towing our rig down the road in inclement weather with the car port attached ? Jeff Foxworthy could make a joke about that one A-Jay
  20. Got the custom cover Lund offered when I purchased my rig new. Fit is Perfect. Going on 6 years and it's like new. A-Jay

I come here to get away from this mess. There's Plenty of it EVERYWHERE ELSE. Bring on the open water. A-Jay

I do use oval or pear shaped rings in every line tie application that routinely uses/requires them. It has also been my experience that with this move, the inclusion of a loop knot is redundant and offers little in the way of improved action of the presentation above & beyond the aftermarket ring. A-Jay Not sure what hook you're using, but there are number of quality products available that have a fantastic / effective track record and are very reasonably priced. Owner & Gamakatsu alone offer enough different models of hooks to cover just about any scenario. A-Jay
  23. Started my week off with some Leg Training ~ A-Jay
  24. I use this SHIMANO 17 Scorpion DC 100 HG for jerkbaits. It's JDM and only costs me ¥28,100.00 It's very decent A-Jay
  25. I fished Fletchers Floodwater a couple times with my canoe a few years ago, but never with the Pro-V Bass. Caught some green bass but really couldn't cover much water with the Old Town and certainly not able to 'map' any of it. There's a solid list of productive lakes between Fletchers & me, so it may be a while before I go back. And obviously the stump factor is pretty high as is the fishing pressure. Good Luck A-Jay
