2021 AFTCO Bassmaster Elite at St. Johns River ~ February 11 ~ 14, 2021
Good to see Mark Menendez fishing on day three. He missed a while. They just showed a clip from two years ago of him getting some great fish at this same venue, AND He was wearing THE EXACT SAME OUTFIT as he's in today ! Right down to the hat, buff, shoes & socks. LOL ~ I can relate. #luckyunderpants ? A-Jay

Rick Clunn Skunked At BP Elite - St. Johns River , FL. !?!
Glad he's OK and not wishing bad luck on anyone but it just goes to show (once again) that even The Zenmaster makes some bad calls on occasion. Offers hope for us mortals. #iamahack A-Jay

Truck Detailing
Yes - fair weather makes the process better and if you're applying a ceramic coating, it need to sit for 24 hours and stay dry. The clay is to help pull impurities in the paint out and I do it before I polish & wax the truck & the boat. The other deal is a ceramic 'Detailer'. I use it after the boat/truck have already had a ceramic finish applied - so this is for a wash & wax between total coatings. spray yhe detailer on the washed and wet truck/boat & wipe it dry. Refreshed the coating a bit - has great water beading properties and is cost effective. I used it last week to wipe down all my rods. My actual ceramic coating of choice - and there's a million of them now is this one https://www.amazon.com/Griots-Garage-10978-Ceramic-22oz/dp/B084F4DC92/ref=sr_1_2?crid=N3IHTVUBZPYE&dchild=1&keywords=griots+ceramic+3-in-1+wax&qid=1613170580&sprefix=griots+cerem%2Caps%2C174&sr=8-2 Easy to apply - goes on & off without a hassle and there's very little chance of any hazing . Super durable.. I use both ceramic product on every hard non-porous surface on the exterior of the boat & the truck EXCEPT the Truck Windshield. Windshield wash will cause streaking I'd rather not deal with. Hope that helps. A-Jay

Congrats on the New Personal Best ~ ! That is Always a Good Time. As for the replica idea, if I were to get one, I would definitely consider the human who did this work . . . Scored the rare GP Spawn Killer pattern. Been hunting these down for going on 2 years #hardtofind Interesting that the motherland uses different trebles. I like that, a lot. A-Jay

Pike Leaders for Bass?
I live & fish in pike & musky central, so I get a few here & there. Some of them are fairly respectable. I've never been bitten off while using this; and I use it quite a bit. IMO - it plays zero role on whether bass bite or not. Especially with moving baits, which is where it sees it's most action. A-Jay

Every day carry knife...
I have been carrying a Gerber Silver Knight (folding) for many years. It's one I gave to my Dad when I was 10. My Mom gave it back to me after he passed. It's a sweet little number that originally had some engraving on it. A few decades of time in service and that has all but been worn away smooth. Still holds a decent edge. Stock photo below looks better than what rides in my pocket everyday. @DitchPanda thanks for the walk down memory lane. A-Jay

Way off-topic. A cooking discussion?
You mean the kind made with whole & real ingredients and not something containing random homogenized, pasteurized and triple filtered selections from the periodic table of elements which no one can pronounce ? Yes, I miss those as well. A-Jay
