  1. Must be another slow news day, I thought @gim would be all over this; Raiders reportedly finalizing deal to hire Seahawks offen...Kubiak helped lead the Seattle Seahawks to the Super Bowl in his first year as the team's offensive coordinator.
  2. We’ll definitely have a much better idea of things on 020926, and looks like the 2026 salary cap will be over $300 million.
  3. Just in to the news desk……….Jody Allen will put the Seahawks up for sale after Super Bowl LX. Will Bezos be the next owner? Will the team follow the Sonics and relocate to Oklahoma City?
  4. A Perko switch is all well and good when you’re running all lead / AGM batteries and the big motor battery is completely drained. Flip the switch and you should be good to go. However in my experience it doesn’t help in the slightest when the combination is AGM and lithium batteries. That was when having Vessel Assist and now currently a NOCO Boost (or similar portable unit) is handy and can save the day. *I appreciate the subject matter as a personal reminder to check my NOCO unit’s charge status.
  5. With the Niners season ending last night, I have to say the team exceeded expectations and went further given all the injuries incurred, especially to the defensive side of the ball over the course of the season and playoffs. I can proudly say the Niners beat every 2025 playoff teams on their schedule once with the exception of Jacksonville and Houston, Mac Jones as QB2 was 5-3 as a starter and the coaching staff was able to coach up a seemingly weekly group of replacement players to give the team a chance to win the next game Now time as a member of the 49 Faithful to prepare for the poaching of the coaching staff, the upcoming NFL draft and looking forward to all the injured starters getting healthy in preparation for the 2026 season. Go Niners!
  6. ^ @gim I’m having those same issues. I’m hoping there just some glitches still needing to be worked out And the edit option (…) isn’t working for me either
  7. Congratulations to Seattle on winning last night’s game and earning the Number one seed and the Western Conference title. In what was expected to be an offensive shootout turned out to be a defensive battle with the Niners unit playing above expectations and Seattle’s defense being elite. Now it’s on to the playoffs
  8. Well said @Jigfishn10 and you play the games on the schedule. In the Niners case, I’m just glad Mac is our QB2. I think @gim for a moment had the conferences mixed up. Disrespecting the NFC West by saying Saturday evening time slot is was reasonable then not promoting the Minn v Green Bay game as a Sunday night season finale replacement. And what’s with mentioning “heads to the golf course” on a bass fishing site?
  9. I wasn’t accurate enough?
  10. Great game and playoff atmosphere in Santa Clara with Purdy spotting the visitors a TD with that first play pick six. Both QBs slinging the ball around the yard piling up yards and points resulting in five ties. It was good to see the Niners defense to show up when it mattered most and force an incompletion to end the game. Next up is another home game on *Saturday evening against Seattle to determine the Western Conference champion and the #1 seed in the playoffs. *The NFL decided to move this game with the two best teams in the NFC and arguably the league to Saturday and treat the country to two .500 teams in the Ravens v Steelers on Sunday night as the season finale? SMH, logic of the day I guess. Go Niners!
  11. After celebrating the Christmas holiday with my family, I’m truly saddened and at a loss for words after reading of the passing of Tom Young, aka @WRB-2.0 or WRB depending on which forum you’re reading. Tom was always willing to give his personal perspective on all things related to bass, bass fishing, the pursuit of trophies and life itself. His comments, observations, documented knowledge will be appreciated just as the lack of his further contributions to the bass fishing community will be sorely missed. My condolences to his wife and family and may Tom rest in peace….
  12. Merry Christmas everyone!
  13. Merry Christmas BR!
  14. Indy with Rivers calling signals made the game very competitive, but a good win nonetheless for the Niners against a defense that gave Seattle fits last week. Up next is Chicago this Sunday night and it should be a great game especially how the Bears are playing. Hopefully the Red and Gold will come out on top and have a chance to play for the Western Division crown and the #1 seed.
  15. Maybe the local school district and ask if a science department / fishing team advisor might be interested. Too much regional/natural history to not pass on
  16. And then it was on to Okinawa, where the casualties were even higher and more horrific amongst the combatants and the civilian population of the island.
  17. Interesting finish to Week #14, the Niners improved their position in the current playoff standings without even playing. @TnRiver46 George Blanda >Steve DeBerg
  18. Big fans of Jennings around these parts as well, as you know dude’s money on third down. And speaking of Super Bowls, three time champion and class act Roger Craig is long overdue for his rightful place in Canton…
  19. d**n…… it’s a good time for a bye week to recharge the batteries, reflect where the team is after all the early injuries decimated the defense and prepare for the final drive towards the playoffs. Just a couple of observations regarding some recent posts, the NFC West is the most competitive/dominant division in the NFL. With Seattle, LA, and the Niners all locked in what seems like a yearly arms race which admittedly only makes the division better. We as fans and the league as a whole benefit from it. I have to admit it was disappointing when the Niners did loose the last three Super Bowls they played. However without getting into specifics, ya gotta get to the Super Bowl to in order to loose the Super Bowl. I’ve also been seeing 2026 NFL draft projections even though it seem a bit early for that. Any ideas which team is streaking towards the #1 pick and will they take a QB or a defensive lineman? Good luck this weekend and Go Niners!
  20. Strap those two Daiwa’s on those rods you’re been planning on throwing them with and enjoy them. However, these things do work well in keeping boatrash at bay. In hindsight, I should have done this earlier in my fishing when considering this situation. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Tackle_Warehouse_Casting_Reel_Covers/descpage-TWCR.html
