  1. If the Loomis Conquest 842C is anything like my old GLX 842C senko chuckin’ machine only better, I’d like to add to my earlier post
  2. Personally I’d keep it simple and go with a Daiwa Steez AGS Casting Rod 7' Med-Med Hvy-SMT. Good luck with your decision @0351 and good fishing
  3. Fill a flask with some Johnnie Walker and bring your own cigar. You should be good to go
  4. Sorry for your loss @JMac603 and your family’s. I wish there were some words of wisdom that could provide some comfort we all search for in these times. I know I did. All one can do is move forward to honor the memories and lessons learned while sharing them with those willing to listen.
  5. While fishing I’ll bring plenty of water, Power Aid, maybe a bottle of ice tea and a can of Red Bull for the drive home. As for something to eat, I’ve finally found something I can keep in my freezer, throw in the boat’s cooler at 0400 and be a perfect snack around 1030 that I can finish off in 3 or 4 bites. Then I find out my kids were eating these things for school lunches for years…
  6. Not sure @BassinSoldier, but it’s possible the Pandemic had a lot to do with the Bass Resource road trips fading out. I remember reading about BR members stating they were on their way from where they lived, whether they were towing a boat or not, the great times fishing and like you said the “fellowship” of finally meeting other members. The BR Road Trips sounded like a great event that be fun to attend in the future. Maybe 2024 would be the year of the next Bass Resource Road Trip event.
  7. There’s a Purdy good chance this is the year of a 6th Lombardi Trophy.
  8. Hydrogen peroxide should do the job @Aaron Stelmach
  9. Congratulations to you both!
  10. Happy Birthday @A-Jay!
  11. Fix it and see how it works out@Ryanralston07, after all Delta bought you a new 7’4” rod to replace the one that was broken. A new reel might be needed as well ?
  12. Good Luck out there DB
  13. Happy Birthday @Hammer 4! Today the fish don’t know whether to cheer you or fear you on your day of celebration! Happy Birthday @12poundbass! Have a great day, hopefully you get a little time on the water!
  14. A dual axel Ranger Trail trailer from White River Marine would be the ticket. It’s not the most inexpensive option @stewa107 but it’s the correct one for a 22 year old Ranger boat. Good luck with your decision
  15. @DaubsNU1 , I’ve been using 20 or 30 pound PowerPro in Hi-Vis yellow to a Seaguar or Sunline fluorocarbon leader on my senko baitcasting rods for a few years now. I appreciate the visual cues of the yellow line as well as the sensitivity of the braid in bite detection especially during low light conditions.

  21. I used them as a chatterbait trailer
  22. 3M ceramic tint has very good thermal properties and is the way to go in my experience
  23. Looks like it’s gonna be a good bait ?
