  4. How’s it go- “ If you aren’t moving forward you’re falling behind.” And yes I do have it. What I’ve learned when using it is there’s A LOT of fish down there that prior to FFS I would’ve thought just weren’t there. In my opinion it still comes down to being in the right place at the right time and doing the right thing with the right bait to get bit. Technology just helps and will continue to do so
  5. Spot lock without question @OG SmashSauce
  6. I’m just surprised there were three other choices other than winter, not that I don’t continue to try
  7. X2 on Bow To Stern, the stuff works on everything. Here’s a picture of my then 18 year old boat that in my opinion the gelcoat looks almost new. We all have our opinions regarding what boat care product(s) works best and the results for those who use BTS it speaks for itself.
  8. Even after all the movie fame and notoriety from the early 60’s it’s nice to see this place is still there.
  9. Pretty much all of the time Mt. Diablo is just there and you don’t give it a second thought other than maybe using it as a navigation aid. And once every so often when it’s cold enough you’re treated to something special around these parts…
  10. I’d have to say a big ole green, close to 28 pound Florida largemouth bass. And as @DaubsNU1 astutely pointed out, the possible endorsements accompanying that historic catch you might need to hire an accountant. *as for the haters, these have been called hater-blockers (aka sunglasses) ? ** the most attainable of the four in my opinion would be the spotted bass
  11. My answer to your question @07Rapala is a boat. In lieu of that option, I’d go with @MN Fisher’s suggestion of 3700 boxes which will help you organize and store your ever increasing arsenal of lures and tackle. For plastics, I use 1 gallon ziplock bags in their original packaging. Good luck and good fishing
  12. Congratulations on your new boat @SuperDuty, she definitely looks in showroom condition and should bring you years of good fishing!
  13. Congratulations @Pat Brown on your new PB! Great picture of that big ole girl sporting her early spring muffin top! Continued good fishing
  14. 50+ years is a hella of a run, a new guy gets to be the NFL’s head groundskeeper. @gimruis, Allegiant Stadium has both natural and artificial turf. It’ll be interesting to see which one they use for next years Super Bowl
  15. The grass there in Phoenix is grown outside, and they roll the entire thing in mechanically for the game, just FYI. The grass for this game was some sort of Bermuda hybrid that if you ask me just didn’t measure up….
  16. The NFL’s head groundskeeper, “The Sodfather” who’s worked on every Super Bowl field said in a interview this past Sunday’s field featured the NFL’s latest and greatest turf blend and the second best field he’s ever worked on for a Super Bowl game. Judging by the number of players who were loosing their footing and the need to change cleets during the game left much to be desired for the league’s premier game. *the interview of the “Sodfather” was regarding his retirement after the Super Bowl
  17. Congratulations on your new PB @Carolina Pines! Thanks for the write up and excellent photos of a big ole bass! Definitely one hella of a way to start off 2023?
  18. I’m gonna say a GYCB soft plastic stick bait or a Rage Bug. They worked pretty well for me in 2022
  19. I’m surprised the first TB12 with four Super Bowl wins hasn’t been mentioned yet
  20. @islandbass, It’s been competitive since the days of Zorn and Largent.

  23. My team had a good season and came up short in the end. Good luck to the Chiefs and Eagles
  24. It was nice to see the swans out and about on a fine January afternoon….
  25. For me it was mostly a first of the year shake down trip and run some gas through the motor. I did wet a line but didn’t get bit on what I was throwing. *grass was very green and healthy looking.
