It probably has more to do with California being the most populous state and subsequently having more drivers. Just a guess, but more drivers buying more gas…. As for which state has highest gas taxes, California happens to be #1 in the nation. Just glad I can fuel my vehicles and go fishing

Other than being a little tired with a bit of a sore shoulder, it’s all good. The nurse explained the potential side effects of the shingles vaccine are similar to that of the COVID vaccine and recommended not getting the two at the same time. So, second shingles shot in two months and I won’t be worrying about the shingles or getting another shingles vaccination.

After a few moments of reflection regarding this topic, the most important thing I’ve learned on Bass Resource is probably the simplest. That I can always learn more about the various aspects of our sport, and the Bass Resource community makes it happen on a daily basis.

I got my 1st Shingles (it’s a two shot series) and a flu shot today, Covid booster scheduled for next week.

Hello @Eddie Garza and welcome to Bass Resource! I have seen some of the old greenies on a major auction site listed for around $85 or so. If it was me, I’d go through it and put a couple drops of oil on the bearings, drop in some Carbontex drag washers, put it on that All Star rod and get 25 or more years of fishing out of it. Funny thing is, I have a “B” series Citica on a All Star rod that for practical and sentimental reasons is still working spinnerbaits. *By the way, check out the thread “Work Horse Baitcaster”..

My primary combination for jerkbaits/poppers isn’t the latest or greatest, but I’m very happy with how they perform. A couple of 7ft Shimano Crucial MH with Curado 201IHG’s, spooled up with 30lb Power Pro and a 10lb Seaguar InvisX leader make ‘em dance…

My youngest sent me this flick of a beach and bridge on a typical sunny day so I thought I’d post it and share….
