Just lost one of my closest fishing partners to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease).

In 36 years we were never skunked

Wish someone would find a cure!

A tough way to go - lost a grand-uncle to that many years ago...you have my sympathies, my friend.

Dangit man!  That's horrible news.  So sorry.  I'm sure you'll find a fitting way to honor his memory.

Sorry

Sorry for your loose...I know its a tough thing. I've lost a couple fishing partners through the years.

I have to admit that I still think about them all the time...mostly while fishing.

What I'd give to have one more trip...

Sorry for your loss Catt. My friends dad died from ALS a few years ago, it happened so fast, it was really hard to watch the life cut out from under someone like that.

Catt, sorry for your loss. I know you are hurting. Time seems to heal all.

And yes, we need more research to study different diseases to try to eliminate them. Too much money that could go to research goes to backwards countries that don't give a d**n about America; and way too much government waste.

Let's hope ALS gets wiped out in our lifetimes.

I’m sorry CATT.  A very good friend lost his wife to ALS 13 years ago.  It was hard to watch Norma have her life stolen from her by that disease.

So sorry for your loss. I lost my fishing/tournament partner of 40+ years a while back and I miss him terribly. Prayers for you and his family.

Laid our good friend to rest yesterday, there's nothing more heart stirring than a military honor guard!
