BPS large 7+" Senko copy. Anybody use them???
yes Brent, 6's please Black Davis- You need to speak their language dude. Show her a pile of 50 and tell her that whole pile was $10. Then show her a $7 bag of 10 from you know who. Explain how much extra money her cost conscious hubby will have left in the bank account for new shoes now that you shop at ***. Tell her Brent is the Zappo's or Overstock.com of Baits, lol.

Many different plastics in different sizes will have different sink rates----irrelevant as a positive or negative in this context. They are stiffer though. Seems up to 6", they maintain "enough" softness to still get that "shimmy" when wacky rigged. The 7's just don't wiggle as well as a 6 and nowhere near as well as a 5. They still work, but most stuff does if you stick with it long enough. This does not seem to be brand specific either. I have some 10's from a local pourer, they don't even wiggle. They sink while remaining horizontal in the water but no shimmy at all. Will it catch fish? I'm sure it would if I stuck with it long enough but....lol. I love the 5. Doesn't just catch the little ones. Doesn't just catch the big ones. CATCHES THEM ALL

3rd Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
Oh man,....BUZZKILL!! At least there is a positive in your scenario, mine is strictly a scheduling thing, I have the previous week off. How much does THAT suck? My one week a yr to take my fishing vacation and I will be sitting at home reading about you guys going the next week. On top of that (somewhat reverse situation) the teamsters training teamsters program at UPS will be discontinued in august this yr. I got to do a lot of nice assignment stuff instead of delivery through this program. No mo,lol. You guys are gonna have a blast, the pressure is on though, I want to see a kickdonkey video when you get back!!!!

Dude, I think you met my ex g/f. Was her name Alisha? (DEM officer) About my height, brown hair, thin........ I dumped her when she was hired by DEM and got a permit to carry,.... ;D She pulled over my buddy Kevin on the bay about 4-5 months later and BAGGED him hard for being over limit on the Haugs, lol. She recognized him from being around my house and let him have it,..... :

Exactly. That's why I think it's kind of crazy to own a $50,000 bass boat if you live in RI. We are "The Ocean State", spend that money on a saltwater boat and get a good jon or small tin boat for the freshwater (my opinion of course) You are correct about Echo but there is a RAMP max hp of either 9.9 or 25, not sure. most boats on that lake are full blown 200hp+ boats. They are in trouble if caught "on the ramp". Once in the water, as long as they have the name of one of the residents that owns a ramp, they are good. Another way around it is the Echo Lake Campground. They have a ramp. Many just say they are from the campground and are left alone. Echo is one of the few places where you can consistently see D.E.M enforcement in action. They usually leave the registere3d tourny's alone but any holiday weekend, you KNOW they will be there.

They choose different lakes to patrol on different days. All ramps have a sign posted regarding max HP. Get caught using a boat on that lake that exceeds the max and you will be fined and removed. Your taxes also pay for the roads but you can't run a dragster down I95. Laws have to be followed. Echo is different. Your friends have to have a private ramp. The law (at Echo anyway. we researched this place hard, my buddy owns the 10 acre island in the middle but the land under the water is privately owned-an odd situation) at Echo applies to the ramp, not the lake. You can launch any size boat from private property because the lake itself is privately owned but the ramp is state owned. The laws apply to the usage of the ramp, not the lake. BUT, this does not apply at ANY lake as stated below. This only applies to privately owned water with state access(I know,...only in RI,lol). Example: Ponagansett Reservoir- You cannot even have a motor on the boat. Doesn't matter if prop is removed or if it was launched from private land. You want to see a hefty fine? Bring gasoline to Ponagansett. (and this place doesn't even have a ramp, it's all private access. D.E.M. does not have patrol here but they have arrest powers via the Providence water supply board. RI has lots of different laws for different types of bodies. They are confusing and sometimes conflicting. Find the lake you want to use and research it independently. Alan- Is that book called "Fisheries investigations and management in RI lakes and ponds"? If so, be aware that those topos are from 1959. The one for Ponagansett is WAY off but ok as a rough reference. If it is a different book, could I get the name from you please? BTW boys, BPS in a few weeks? something to do.....

Tom Cruise is a nut.
All I know is if I'm ever in a car accident and Tom is there,...someone STILL dial 9-1-1. I know he thinks he's the only one that can help but when it comes to sewing me back up, I think I'd rather have a Doctor do it. ;D

Travel Case for rods
The latches break off. I thought it was just on the ones I owned but I think it was redlinerobert or someone who was telling me the same thing happened with them. No biggee, it has to be zip tied anyway so they can inspect it.

Travel Case for rods
they all lose/damage them, you want a service that will replace them in such an event.

If you find yourself in RI, you can borrow my Bazooka Pro. I'm in East Greenwich. If you do ship it, ONLY use UPS or FEDEX. You want insurance and trackability. Hell yea they do, they think,..."Man, I wish I was that guy,...wonder where he's heading....Texas? Florida? Amazon?" Just don't drop to one knee and put it up on your shoulder

I have a confession...
So can I but I can take even 1 step further and touch someone elses nose with mine
