Muddy- I think we all share the same views here. Be it live bait fishing or WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO,...it's YOUR vacation. We all will be living life minute to minute, doing exactly what we want, how we want, at that precise minute! At least I will be....... and you're welcome to join me,lol

WANTED: New Company looking for Sponsors
A friend of the family let them know about Ryan I believe. They asked Ryan to work a booth one year and the relationship grew. They would not have considered him w/o his grade point avg. That is the biggee when it comes to youth and sponsorships.

Interrogated by the FWC Biologist today.
There are lots of anglers with information that could be valuable to DNR, I'm suprised they don't pool us for more info. Way to contribute, both of you.

Question about the Fork Trip
This same week last yr, there were all 3 stages going on, hence the reason we initially chose that week. Didn't matter though, the weather had everything on "hold", regardless of what stage they were in.

What would you pay?? (pics)
I didn't even notice that. BPB, if you can find a bare hull for $2-400, I would built it yourself with the goodies you want and where you want them. We can help if you have the tools and space for a project.

Jon boat rebuild question
Be very careful welding an aluminum boat. This is somthing best left to the pro's. Around here we have a few well known welders who build aluminum tuna towers for a living. 2 of them wouldn't touch my boat, the 3rd did but was very clear that I may have a piece of junk if all doesn't go right. Somthing about arcing and melting, etc etc I don't weld so I don't know, all I know is that some of the best aluminum welders in the world were hesitant. Also, the carpet will wear out before the wood.

Life Jacket ratings-what's the difference
Commercial applications require different flotation requirements than recreational. When I fish the bay, I use a type III jacket. The one below. However, fishing offshore and using my commercial permits/licenses, we are required to carry 1 type 4 life suit per person. The avg PFD's for recreational angling are type I. Hope this helps

to First Time Bass Fishing
Welcome aboard. I believe that fish may go a bit over 5. It's got girth. as for keeping bass, especially the bigger ones, if it's not somthing you plan on mounting, PLEASE, PLEASE,PLEASE do not remove breeder size fish. These fish are the heart and soul of a lake spreading good, healthy DNA. In the north, a 5 lbr could be a trophy to some,.... but in Texas, It's kind of a shame to kill a bass that size. She's an optimum breeder. Was an optimum breeder. Smaller fish are tastier anyway. Catch, Photograph, release. It's for the benefit of your lake and future angling experiences. Well, you got one for the wall I guess, many more to come now that you are hooked.

I've been waiting for Mike to want to see some real New England Bass but I got no return call. Sent in video and got nothing in return as far as a response goes. Big Bummer, I know we could show him some nice fish and my boat is never shy of laughter. Oh well, I'm just not TV material.

Fat fish farmer-G Loomis
I havn't seen his prices but if they stray very much from Loomis' set price, I would be cautious of buying "B" stock. I saw this alot in the ski industry. I have no clue about this seller or his products, just a "tread with care" note.

My dream car...
lol, your looking at 255 Thousand with a capital "T" ;D The 07 C6 Z06 would take that V12 Vanquish. Astons escort royalty all over Europe,...Vettes shuttle strippers back and forth to the club. Granted,...you do it faster but when the cops are behind you, because she's got a purse full of meth, you're right, you'll want the vette.

Life is far from over up North
THAT'S LAST NIGHT'S FROST!!! ;D Actually, you get the nice visuals but don't have 3 days of slush after. Must be a nice change when it does snow down there.

So what other forums do you guys go to?
Just this one. I was on Sounddomain, a part of carddomain for awhile when I had sponsored cars in their gallery. They really treated me well. Another great forum for sharing specified knowledge. An avg Joe can be doing moderate installs by himself in a month. Do you have apic of your car? I made kick pods for a Diablo a few yrs ago. I looked at doing a Modina but knew I would be biting off more than I could chew. Very tricky dash. Plus, you can't build bass in a convertible and I knew the owner would be let down by the sound, after experiencing some real sound systems that we had done before. I also did a full boot glass fabrication job in a 930 slantnose. (DP ultrlight) fun car back then. (that was one he listened to and that thing just slams. Very clean. All top notch components, Rainbow seperates, arc amps, etc)

Nice. Was the spinning vs B/c any different on your arm/shoulder? I would love to own some stellas but I think they are worth the money only if you have the longevity that IT does. I don't, lol. I'd be more likely to accidentally run it over before I ever wore it out!

Am I the only one?
Every year I get older, I appreciate more. Family is the number one contributor for me and holidays are the main time we all gather at once. It's not all roses though, there are trials and tribulations, times to keep your mouth shut and times to speak up. Either way, I often think lately that my dad won't be here a whole lot longer, nothing exact, just that he has lived hard and is slowing down faster than most. Holidays are ruined by retail conspiracies, etc, agreed,...but it's also one more time I get to hug my dad. Papa- I have a strong respect for your thought process. Reading your words reminds me of these people in my life that raised and guided me from my early days. Just wanted you to know that you are not just heard but appreciated
