Amen RW! I live in upstate NY and couldn't watch my beloved Jets beat the Pats. The cable company says to blame the NFL Network, the NFL Network says to blame the cable company. You know what I blame both of them, they should have come to some agreement a long time ago instead of letting us spin in the wind and miss our favorite games.

Someone thought it was a good idea to personally stock the local pond where I live. They did it by throwing in a bag of feeder goldfish sold in most petstores. You can buy them 10 for a $1 for those that like to feed there Oscars live fish. Who knows what disease they can infect a lake with. Luckily the pond they are in still has sunfish and you can catch those carp, they are about 8 inches now.

Thats a great deal, and I love a good bargin. Enjoy your new combo.

I checked everything out and its a real Supreme. I am hoping someone on these boards is able to find a Dick's with the same sale. When you combine it with the $10 coupons that Dick's offers its a real steal. I know what Fish is talking about though as I have a Dick's exclusive Pflueger Purist. They painted it red and gave it a new name the Pflueger Intensity.

There are two Dick's within easy driving distance from where I live. One has the reel and the other one doesn't. I didn't even notice that they carried Supreme's until I was looking at the display models they have mounted on rod butts sticking on a wall with tags hanging from them with the sale prices. They have all the clam pack reels underneath those display models but I didn't see the Supreme. I had to ask the clerk if they had any left and he told me that the Supreme's come in a box so they have them in the back.

I have a new favorite reel! I purchased a Pflueger Supreme spinning reel at Dick's on Saturday it was on sale for $69.95, $30.00 less than list price. I was shocked at how light this magnesium reel was especially after compairing it with the weight of the Pflueger Infusion which is all aluminum.

I thought the book was an excellent read. Ike is really a down to earth guy.

What a great looking reel, I think this has to go on my Christmas wish list. Now if they could only make a pflueger president2 spinning reel with an aluminum body life would be perfect.

Spinning. I fish from shore most of the time and I hate casting into the wind with a baitcaster.

How about not letting a child near a automatic weapon period. As a father every fiber of my being is geared towards protecting my son from danger. How am I protecting my son by placing him anywhere near a fully automatic weapon?

I have a pair of prescription sunglasses. I know thats not the most popular choice because of price but most eyeglass places have deals when you purchase your regular glasses to get a second pair free or at a discount. You can usually talk them into letting that second pair be sunglasses.

What a horrible accident. It is unfortunate that certain people will use accident's like this to fuel anti-gun laws. There needs to be a law against stupid parents instead.

The same thing happened to a friend of mine recently. When he complained to his HOA they told him that the guys fishing there were HOA maintenence workers. Since they worked for the HOA maintaining the grounds the HOA gave them permission to fish there. All is not always what it seems. Ask your HOA to take care of this problem thats their job.

They gave him a rod that costs $10 more and ate the difference. I think thats "awesome customer service". They made the offer and the customer (Ghost) accepted, it was his choice. He could have said no, I want the exact model that broke. I would bet that they would have given him a credit at that point.

Until recently I have used a Flambeau hard tackle box with the tool racks on the side. That box was great but I hated having to switch out my bass stuff for lighter tackle when I went panfishing with my son. Now I use an All Star tackle bag I got from a free offer when I bought one of their rods. It has space for standard utility boxes which I can customize for the type of fish I am going for. Now all I have to do is swap out the utility boxes when needed.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. On the bright side both Daiwa and the store you purchased the rod at have exhibited awesome customer service.
