  1. Minn Kota has their own line of batteries maybe they are just selling another item to catch Angler's money rather than having any benefit. Will keep inquiring to others as it's benefit. Thanks. Chow
  2. Yes, it was an awesome fish and the Angler was dog tired after he and the deck hand got it on board what a fight for the ages. Chow
  3. Anytime I'm on the water is my favorite time. Chow
  4. Thank you for sharing your trip. Those are some mean looking fish best keep your fingers away from their mouths. Chow
  5. I have and use the Johnny Morris series, BPS Extreme and the Bionic Blade all are great rods in their price range. I only have the spinning rods though. Chow
  6. On Mono I like the Flo Blue and on Braid I like green. Chow
  7. I forgot to mention that I use Minn Kota's battery equalizer additive to the batteries haven't use it long enough to know if it works I just started using it this year. The batteries are only 2 years old and it's my first boat so the jury is still out for me. Maybe someone else has used it or heard of anyone using it. Chow
  8. They aren't on BPS's website as well funny that they are selling them in the store and don't have them listed on the website. Cabela's has them on their website I'll be going to the Cabela's in Hamburg, PA this weekend to check them out hopefully it's not the opposite of BPS. I only heard of one feedback and that was by Walleye Angler's in the far north and it was positive. Chow
  9. I don't have any one favorite but if I have to choose one it would be the original Shad Rap it catches everything and I mean everything. 8-) Chow
  10. The main line was 400lbs and the leader was 200lbs. Is this considered light tackle? Chow

  18. I use both, But I do use the Horny Toad the most as it's a very productive bait and I do like the power worms though. Chow

  21. boondocks did say Bass magazines so In-Fisherman is a multi-species magazine that isn't a Bass only magazine keep that in mind. I too get In-Fisherman but I'm a multi species Angler. Chow
  22. The aftermath of getting a girl hooked on fishing is even worse. You're going to see lotsa worms 'n lures you never threw into your cart when you go to the cashier..... This & that and this & that. I swear she's worse than any bait monkey I'll ever meet!! I went to Bass Pro in Harrisburg, PA with a friend and his girl and she started filling his shopping cart with reckless abandon. SHAZAM!!!! Every Angler's kind of girl. Chow
  23. Bass Times, Bassmaster and Bassin. Bass Times is associated with Bassmaster. Chow
