  1. Does anyone actually read these things? Asking for a friend.
  2. #1 reason I never use leader. That's just me. If you like to use it, knock yourself out. There's no "wrong" here.
  3. I have 3 pairs of Wiley-X, if that says anything. That said, there's a new kid on the block that I really like, but out of your price range ($200+). https://hookandbullet.life/ Also note that Wiley-X wasn't at the Classic nor ICAST this year when they've been there for years. That's a concern. They moved from CA to TX 2 years ago, and lost a lot of people in the process. So they're going through some growing pains. But maybe you can get a great pair at a good price.
  4. Just in case anyone had questions - Keri and I do not modify our hooksets when the cameras are rolling. Furthermore, we don't act differently in front of the cameras. What you see is what we always do. Speaking of which, we always crank the drag all the way down - with the exception of crankbaits and finesse tactics - and then loosen the drag when fighting the fish. Seems to work for us.
  5. It's an espresso martini kinda night. It's been a very, very long hard week!

  7. Ok guys, I don't know what it is about BFS topics, but it seems to bring out the ugly in some people. Posts have been removed, warnings handed out.... Reminder: Treat everyone with respect! If you can't do that, you'll be shown the door.

  9. Crud, that's tough choice, but I'd have to say the Superbowl. But only if the halftime show is Kenny Chesney.
  10. A restaurant that everyone seems to love but you think is actually not that good. And...go!

    Sounds like my ex-girlfriends.
  15. We've had a few interesting threads like this in the past. It's some good reading late at night. Some of these are hilarious while others will raise the hair on the back of your neck! There's more... a lot more here. But this is plenty for now.
  16. Training camp is about to begin and the predictions have already begun! What's your prediction?
  17. Very hot and dry in my area. We've had little rain since April, which is extremely unusual. I'm liking it though. @TnRiver46 Stay indoors and safe!
